This was the perfect way to end our time in Rome. Pictures cannot do the area justice! The wine tasting, and lunch was out of this world, our tour guide, and our bus driver were smart and expedient and wonderful people! Great Experience

The guide was fabulous and waited for two people who were over 20 minutes late so they could join. She shared so much history and the food was wonderful! We were so full at the end and it was a great experience to hear from an expert about what we were eating and why. On reviews I read, people complained about the artichokes, but we loved them. All the food was simple and delicious.

We stopped at four locations and I thought at the beginning I was gonna need to get dinner after. Boy was I wrong. And the free flowing wine is an understatement. Organic wines though. No headache despite most of us getting tipsy. I traveled solo. That didn’t matter. We all got to chatting. 8 of us. And we had a wonderful time. Our guide was great, too!! Knowledgeable, funny and tried to keep pouring the wine!! I’d suggest this tour to anyone who would like to get a true sense of various types of Italian food. Street eats, pasta, truffles. Included it all and ended with gelato!

Great way to start your trip in Rome! Good way to get your bearings and plan out rest of the trip. Lisa was very informative about the food and history of the areas we were in- yet personable and it felt like you were exploring the city with a friend. She gave us great recommendations for places to visit next and places to have dinner. Definitely come hungry- you get an amazing range of tastings. We were definitely stuffed by the end. She was good about breaking up the tour- with adequate water breaks and sit down meals in air conditioned restaurants- which was much needed on a day that reached 105 degrees.

The food was excellent and we had a few food moments that we will go down in our family memories, specifically the fried fish was a highlight. What a fantastic experience. Myself, husband, sister and our 3 year old son were taken on this tour by Giancarlo and what an experience. We have had food tours in Italy before but this was by far the best. The food was amazing, the stops were educational but what made this tour stand out was the customer service. Giancarlo was not put off having a 3 year old on the tour and was his best friend by the time we had our Gelato! It wasn’t all about our son either, I told Giancarlo that I had just completed a history and classics degree and he went out of his way to make sure I got my fill off history as well as food. Wonderful food tour. Stefano was our guide and, while the food was wonderful, he was amazing! His knowledge of the area, history and food made the tour even more enjoyable.
