The experience was amazing! We did not know what we would encounter upon arrival, but it was simply amazing. The staff were so hospitable and welcoming. Chef Eric was phenomenal. The food, the atmosphere the history are worth it. They should charge more for the actual demonstration. Well worth it and I definitely would’ve paid more.

This is a wonderful experiencing a local chef preparing typical New Orleans foods. Chef Eric was a talented, experienced chef with a local background. He provided an informative and humorous demonstration & delicious samples. A highly recommended fun class for being introduced to southern, Cajun cooking.

The chef besides being warm, engaging, and knowledgeable about Cajun cooking, was extremely comedic. My 13-year-old grandson loved him, and he even called him up to help him make the pralines.

coachctiller, May 2026
Fun, educational, and delicious activity. Chef Lynn was very entertaining while whipping up a wonderful meal. The meal alone was worth the price and I learned a good bit about creole cooking and the basics of how to do it. I enjoyed it so much that I booked a hands on class the next day. Definitely going to try to make some of the recipes at home.
