Your bus driver Preston on the grey line was excellent - our tour guide Keeja (no idea how to spell properly, hopefully I am close) did a great job and was very kind and patient. Another guide explained to us the plantation museum only in recent years started explaining the lives of the slaves who lived and died on the plantation. I hope they continue to expand on that aspect as I think it is integral to educate people on the entire depth of that history - it’s not just a grand old house with cool trees - it was a place of great suffering and injustice for so many people.

The tour was excellent....

The tour was excellent. They even picked us up at our hotel. The drive was a wealth of information and very pleasant. I would say that this tour and the one that says garden district and cemetery are so much alike that you don’t need to do both. By the time I realized this as we were on the first tour it was too late to cancel the second tour so I had to forfeit the $80 I spent on tickets. I was very dissatisfied about this turn of events.

Awesome tour! Dewey was an amazing guide!

Dewey was an incredible guide! He knew all the places to go to find alligators and had a wealth of knowledge concerning the wildlife and geography of the region. He cracked all kinds of genuinely funny jokes, showed us the most adorable baby alligator that we got to hold, and even kissed a big alligator! We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it.

The best way to tour the city.

We had a great time using the hop on hop off busses. It really was the best way to explore the city. The staff were very friendly and patient and kept us well informed throughout the route. Linda was our favorite, she made the ride a lot of fun. She was funny, friendly and informative. Thank you Linda. We enjoyed the tour and had the best time meeting Bill and Leroy. For an easy city tour I highly recommend!

This was a great tour! Gary our guide & driver was engaging and informative. A local, it felt like he gave us so many insights from history, to architecture, to restaurant recommendations. It was perfect for my mom who has limited mobility. It was our first day in the city so it gave us a great lay of the land. So glad we took this tour!

We took a 9:30pm cemetery tour for my daughter’s 16th birthday, and wow what an unforgettable experience. From the moment we started, the atmosphere was fascinating in the best way possible. Our tour guide, Jeff, absolutely made the night. He went above and beyond to make it feel special for her birthday, which meant a lot to us. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does—his storytelling, energy, and knowledge brought everything to life. I was especially impressed by how much we learned about the tombs, the history, and the traditions. It wasn’t just a “spooky tour”—it was actually really interesting and engaging the whole way through. If you’re even thinking about doing a nighttime cemetery tour, do it. And if you get Jeff as your guide, you’re in for something truly memorable.

Fantastic Day Exploring Outside the City

What a fun day getting out of downtown New Orleans and exploring the bayou. It was a beautiful day out on the water in the swamp boat tour. Our driver, Malcom, was wonderful and our tour guide, Kate, kept us engaged all day with her insightful tour and interesting stories of New Orleans and beyond. The swamp boat tour was especially enjoyed by my sons and is a great family activity to explore the bayou and view wildlife like alligators up close!

Christopher was a super tour guide and driver.

Our guide was Christopher, "Stophu", and we loved him. He was funny, shared so much information, friendly, courteous. He truly made sure we were all safe and taken care of. Always made sure everyone was back on the bus at the end of stops. Encouraged questions and answered them all. I highly recommend him.

My experience was very...

My experience was very special. Kendall was our tour guide & he was AMAZING!!! We felt so bad for him because some people on our tour were being so rude to him. He was so kind & going miles to make the tour experience special & informational for everybody. There was a certain couple on our tour that were impatient waiting for the others to finish at certain stops so they took it out on Kendall. Kendall reacted in a way everyone would have, even better than me. He was trying to be as respectful as possible, but 3 of the guests were being super rude to him and egging him on. One of them kept saying he needed to let the situation go then it turn would keep egging him on. The couple that initially complained left the tour because some of us stepped in to tell them how unnecessarily rude they were being. And still the one person kept trying to get a reaction out of Kendall and saying he couldn't move on. It was clear she was trying to make him snap or something which everybody else on the bus agreed with. Everybody else on the tour was able to move on and enjoy the rest of the tour even though it was hard for Kendall to do. He still came through with an immense about of information for us & answering questions on the way back. The majority of us felt so bad for him and what he had to deal with. You really cannot please everybody, it is so common for some people to be disappointed.
