Bree was so great and funny. Blaze Star is such a good girl too! This was my favorite thing I've done in New Orleans so far!
Gale_P, Apr 2026
We sat in the back row seats and had difficulty understanding (not hearing) the guide's narration. The carriage ride was lovely.
Michelle_B, Apr 2026
Very enthusiastic and entertaining the guide was very knowledgeable and knew what he was saying. Very fun

We had a great time with Tony and Pretty Boy (the mule). Tony was awesome and kept us entertained and fascinated the entire tour. Pretty Boy was well behaved and so sweet. We will definitely do another tour when we come back in March of 2027. Big Thanks To Tony and Pretty Boy.

Nice way to spend an evening, my kids both one is 13 and the other is 10 both enjoyed the ride as well.
Michelle_E, Apr 2026
The tour guide was fantastic and really made sure we had a great experience despite the crowds shouting at the carriage

We loved our haunted carriage ride tour! Our tour guide Larry was so fun and shared all kinds of interesting info that we hadn’t heard or read about. It was nice to ride around in the carriage vs doing a walking tour. I think we saw and learned just as much as we would have on a walking tour. And Chiquita (our leader) was a such a sweet mule.
The price of this tour was well worth the reasonable fee!
If you are in your 50s & 60s, I highly recommend this tour - especially after you’ve been walking all day!

It was good, but with the street activities it was difficult to hear the guide. Maybe provide some amplification? PS - The unexpected stoppage by NOLA PD for a stabbing victim did not factor into this review.

This was the coolest, most interesting tour we have taken in a long time. The tour guide was so knowledgeable, wish I could remember her name. Five stars

Enjoyable trip with macabre history. Lou was a delight and knew exactly where to go. Extra bonus doing this during pirate week.

Our guide's name was Leman and our mule was Footloose. It was blast and lots of fun. Leman had a wonderful personality. Highly recommend!

Our carriage driver, Tony, was a great storyteller. Outstanding mix of history, humor, and haunting stories. We enjoyed our ride through the French Quarter. So glad the carriage had a speaker since the streets were busy and loud. Our mule was Pretty Boy, good boy!

It was an amazing tour with a great tour guide. She was very informative and funny. She treated our daughter especially great and let her set up front with her. My daughter hasn't stopped talking about the tour!
Courtney_M, Apr 2026
The tour was unique and fun. My children loved our mule, Josie and our guide was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. It was a great way to do a tour - we got to see a lot in a short amount of time. Our guide also made the experience kid-friendly for our 9 year old by using less descriptive language. We enjoyed the experience!
Jessica_E, Apr 2026
my husband and son loved all the sites and history. Out tour guide Jason and his mule Shirley were a great pair.
Kayla_M, Apr 2026
Amazing experience! Our tour guide was awesome! Our beautiful mule was Pretty Boy, and he was even more pretty and sweet than words could describe. Highly recommend 💯😂
Lisa_M, Apr 2026
Definitely interesting to hear all the stories about New Orleans history. Our driver was funny but a little much at times? Other than that it was great tour.
Mary_T, Apr 2026
This is an amazing way to get a quick snapshot of the history and culture of New Orleans, with some humor and ghost stories too!! We had such a great time with Trisha and Desire!!!!
Daniel_D, Apr 2026
KJ was a great guide and told us some interested haunted ‘facts’! The carriage was comfortable and definitely better than a walking tour. This felt intimate and informative and we got to see a whole lot of the French Quarter in just over an hour long tour!
Ashley_C, Apr 2026
Lemun was an excellent story teller!! We enjoyed our tour greatly! There was history mixed with haunted stories.
Jason_P, Apr 2026
Our guide was very informative and lively. She made the tour a must do. We thoroughly enjoyed having her as our tour guide. She was very animated and encouraged our participation during the tour. She was very knowledgeable about the local lore and history that made the tour complete. Would 100% take this tour again on a future trip.

It was a good tour and nice to not have to walk a lot but may not have been worth the amount we paid. I did appreciate that our guide left out the foo-foo that some guides say in their tours about the “ghost tours”.
Julie_K, Mar 2026
Wonderful experience! Our guides, Trisha and Desire, did an amazing job. Trisha explained the local history and haunts. While Desire guided us around the local neighborhoods safely making sure Madame LaLaurie did not inhabit any of her passengers.
Tanya_K, Mar 2026
Our taxi driver recommended a carriage tour and said that the tour guides for the carriage tours are very knowledgeable. We were skeptical. We are so glad we did. It was fantastic. We went at 9 pm and went through the French quarter. The streets were crowded and we didn’t have to walk through crowds to see the area. We had done walking tours in the past but it can be hard to hear and you are often passing multiple other gouges as you go. This was so much more enjoyable. And then of course we were right back to Cafe du Monde.
Kimberly_J, Mar 2026
The tour guide was amazing! Very interesting tour, spooky information and the tour was the perfect length. Our guide was awesome. So much fun. Highly recommend.
Claudia_G, Mar 2026
There really is not much ghost activity here in New Orleans. It was a great evening for a carriage ride in the French Quarter, though. Our guide was well informed and gave us the history of the city and the few places haunted by ghosts. She talked about voodoo as well, which was really interesting. A lot of the information was not new to me, but if I was the first time visitor I would definitely take the tour in the evening. Lots of music and fun loving crowds.
Brian_C, Mar 2026
It was OK. It was not worth the money. We spent $200 to drive around in a cart drawn by a donkey with a guy that just did not shut up and it was hard to understand what he was saying.
