**You must be out front of your location at the beginning of the pickup window or the bus will be forced to leave.** For pickups, there will be a 30 minute window. Please be on the lookout for a bus that says Alert Transportation. 8:00 AM pickup will be sometime between 8:00 AM and about 8:30 AM. 10:20 AM pickup will be sometime between 10:20 AM and about 10:50 AM. 12:30 PM pickup will be sometime between 12:30 PM and about 1:00 PM. 3:00 PM pickup (seasonal) will be sometime between 3:00 PM and about 3:30 PM.

- Most travelers can participate
- Folding wheelchairs (up to 28 inches in width) are allowed, but the driver is not allowed to pick up a person to help them gain entrance. The customer must get into the boat/minibus by themselves or with assistance from family or friends.
- Please note you are not guaranteed to see a gator. They hibernate in winter months but are easily spotted in spring, summer, and fall.
- Service animals are permitted.
- Emotional support animals are not permitted.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 50 travelers

This was an amazing tour. We had Kenny as our tour guide and he was hilarious, made everyone laugh. We got to see a lot of alligators and also a raccoon. The scenery is very beautiful and the boat was comfortable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was nice to get out of the city and into nature. It was prettier than I expected and it was so great seeing alligators in their own habitat, as opposed to an alligator attraction. I highly recommend taking this tour!
120 min spent on a watercraft with 15-30 people touring a private swampland, highlighting wildlife and ecology with a bit of marshmallow added to the mix. (must travel in person to understand marshmallow). It’s well worth the $$$ on the trip.

It was cool! The guide was hilarious so that made it really fun. It’s mostly a boat tour and then 3/4 in you see some gators.
The road trip transportation was clutch. They pick you up and drop off straight to your hotel
Wow! What a fantastic trip! It has been the highlight of our trip to New Orleans. Bobby our tour guide was very informative and funny and it was clear that he knew the area and the wildlife so well and was very passionate about it. A fantastic, well organised trip.
Our tour guide was amazing! I loved his stories, learning about the history of things in the swamp, etc. This excursion was such a great experience, I’m happy I signed up!
Ernie was a great guide. Lots of gators. Beautiful waterways. Take the pontoon. It is quieter. Had a great time.

Have been on air boats and I’ve been on several swamp tours and I have to say that was the best one. I’m sorry that I don’t remember our airboat captains name but he was absolutely fabulous. Please extend a special thank you to bus driver number three who found my phone and brought it back to the hotel for me. Y’all were the best.

Fun trip. Ernie was knowledgeable in a local way it was repetitive at some point but was good to hear local stories.
This was such a well organized and enjoyable experience. From meeting point, transportation, arrival, to our tour guide. So knowledgeable and personable.
Ernie was the best! He was super informative and great stories about when he was young on the bayou.
Our travel guide Ernie was amazing. Having a guide with a lifetime of experience in this Bayou area was beautiful. Yes, we saw alligators, as he know’s the area, and even knows them by name, but he has an understanding and knowledge of this area like no other. My wife and the other couple we traveled with enjoyed this experience and it exceeded our expectations. Thanks Ernie for being a wonderful guide - highly recommend!

The lady that picked us up at our hotel, Miss Barbara was fantastic. Very kind, sweet, informative driver. Couldn't have asked for a nicer person.
Our Swamp Tour boat was manned by Captain Bobbie. What a character! He definitely made the tour fun. He gave us a lot of interesting facts about the swamp area. All the different animals, birds and reptiles. Also facts about the water, land and foliage. All in all a great tour.
Ernie was our guide and he was awesome. He shared a lot of information and we enjoyed the tour immensely. I would recommend this tour if you get the chance!!
We saw many alligators and enjoyed the speaker. He was funny. We got to hold a baby alligator. The racoons were adorable. It was exactly what we had hoped. Also our transfer from the hotel was convenient and the lady was so sweet and gave us good pointers for navigating the city.

Captain Ernie did a great job! Highly recommend going on his pontoon boat! He provided us with lots of knowledge about the wetlands. We got to see alligators, racoons, cows and birds. He was very entertaining and let us hold a tiny baby alligator! 5 star Captian, for sure!! We have always done airboats in the past, but we all agree-we much prefer the pontoon boat more! Not as noisy and still has ability to go fast.

So glad we did this during our trip to New Orleans. A beautiful ride thru the swamps and bayous. Saw lots of alligators, beautiful birds including a pair of great blue herons and even a couple of raccoons that came out of hiding when the boat pulled up. Our captain Trey was great. He had us laughing throughout the entire trip. The highlight was watching him lift the alligators right out of the water by their chins and feed them marshmallows! A real must when you come to New Orleans!

This tour was great and affordable. Great for families. Captain Bobby was super informative and even let us all hold his little Zilla(alligator). We saw so much wildlife and the alligators came right to the boat for treats. Fun way to see the swamp.
Captain Ernie is great! Make sure and ask him questions because he has a ton of knowledge and stories that he is thrilled to share. Also, there is no danger from the alligators unless… well I’ll let Captain Ernie tell you. Is there is rain, bring a raincoat but still a great experience in the rain.
Our tour operator, Captain Bob, is fearless and we love him for that! Captain is like an “alligator- raccoon whisperer” and he was entertaining us beyond belief! He played with and fed alligators like they were his besties on-the-spot in the swamp. Not set up as a charade, and the raccoons too. His extensive knowledge of the bayou and swamps was amazing. Captain Bob would be great and teaching a Louisiana history class. Most of all he is hilarious and I don’t mean trying to be a rehearsed stand up comedian (nothing wrong with that just saying) he is the real deal. You will be very lucky to have him be your tour guide. 10 stars and a double raise for him!
