Corey_H, Jun 2026
The guides were very informative and fun. The rest of the staff was very helpful and friendly. I learned a lot and about the city, and I was able to get the layout of the city faster than if I'd just been walking around. If your plans allow, I'd suggest taking a full trip around first (about an hour and a half). They have lots of tips on where to visit.

Great way to travel around the city and cover more sites. I got the three day pass and used it each day.only had to uber at night.drivers and guides were great.it rained one day and they provided ponchos. would definitely use on my next visit.

Second Day; still more to see!

Tim_P, May 2026
Second Day on the Bus and wish we had another! We spent quite a few hours at the National WW2 Museum; excellent and easily accessible from the Bus. Once again we parked at the Basin Visitor Center and ride from there. Logan and Lita gave us lots more info; so glad we took another ride! We also visited the French Market and did a bit more shopping.

Cindy_R, May 2026
Bus schedules are not exact, must allow for traffic and detours. If you’re not in a hurry to get to a particular stop, it’s a great way to see the city. Tour guide was very knowledgeable about the city and was entertaining.

See the city of NOLA in style

Judy_F, May 2026
Fun riding around streets of NOLA with skilled drivers and informative tour guides. Learned a lot. Took the entire route on the 2nd day due to rain.

Hop On Hop Off

Linda_M, May 2026
Drivers are very informative abd helpful. Would be nice if they had stops closer to the Royal Sonesta and some of the other locations were quite far from the actual destinations.

Very useful, educational

Christy_L, May 2026
The hop on hop off tours are a great way to see alot in a short amount of time, also helps you get acclimated to the area.

Be Aware of Limitations

Suzanne_M, May 2026
The buses don't start running until 9:30 so you can't use them to get anywhere before 10:30. We had a food tour that started at 10:00 so we had to take an Uber. You also can't use it to get to dinner places because it quits running by 5:30 or earlier depending on what stop you're at or want to get to. Lastly, we purchased 3 day passes and after the first day the app said our ticket was complete and it disappeared from the app. So I had to find the email that had the QR code and use that because the Viator system wouldn't let me download load the QR code to my Apple wallet since it was marked that the ticket was complete even though we had two more days of use left. It was a hassle!!

Fun loving hop on hop off bus tour

Sandra_S, May 2026
Linda and Lita were fabulous guides and drivers. They were upbeat, fun loving, knowledgeable, and very accommodating to all. I highly recommend taking this bus tour.

I love the hop n go system! Or bus broke down and we waited 20 mins before we got to hop on another bus. But it was still fun

The best way to tour the city.

catrina_s, Apr 2026
We had a great time using the hop on hop off busses. It really was the best way to explore the city. The staff were very friendly and patient and kept us well informed throughout the route. Linda was our favorite, she made the ride a lot of fun. She was funny, friendly and informative. Thank you Linda. We will definitely be using these busses again in the future and recommending to others. We also did a walking tour of the garden district with Paige. She was great and very informative as well. Thank you Paige. Thank you to all the hop on hop off staff.

Awesome Time.

Glenna_S, Apr 2026
Great way to get around the city and get your sense of direction and bearings. Took us two days to do that. Wonderful staff. Shout out to Bill who we saw many times and was great.

I highly recommend getting the 3 day pass so you can explore all the tour has to offer without rushing.

Recommend as a great starting point!

Joey_P, Apr 2026
Overall, I do recommend the Hop-On Hop-Off tour. The drivers were safe and courteous, and most of the tour guides (two out of three) were informative and very entertaining. I can’t remember his name, but the guide from New Jersey was absolutely fantastic! We had a three-day pass, which included two walking tours: the French Quarter and the Garden District. The French Quarter tour was…meh. The guide seemed overly focused on getting us to see the steamboat departure, which made the tour feel a bit rushed. It wasn’t bad, just not something that needed to be treated as a “highlight,” especially since the boat departs at other times of day. The Garden District tour, on the other hand, was great! The guide was very friendly—even though it was her third non-stop tour on a very warm day—and she shared lots of interesting information. I only managed to stump her once with my questions—ha! Now for the downside: we had a three-day pass, but it disappeared from the app at the end of the second day. It wasn’t even saved under past tours like my others. I’m not sure what happened there. Fortunately, we had already seen everything we wanted, so it didn’t end up affecting our trip. Even with that odd issue, I would still recommend this tour to anyone looking for a convenient way to map out key points of interest.

Tour guide was wonderful Very informative and interesting. Bus was clean. The stop on Basin Street was great.

I enjoyed the tour. It gave a brief overview of the city.

Marquita_W, Apr 2026
The tour gave an impression about the vibe of the city; the architecture, businesses, and ambiance. I loved the city because it is historic and unique In appearance.

We had a little trouble at first figuring out how to get a map of the route but once we made it to the visitor center, we found everything we need.

I think the HOHO Bus...

marissa_m, Apr 2026
I think the HOHO Bus tours are the best way to get around and learn about a new city. The drivers and tour guides seem to enjoy what they are doing which makes for a good experience. Each guide has their own personal flair and may also share different tidbits of history than the next guide.

Fantastic way to be...

Horst_G, Mar 2026
Fantastic way to be introduced to New Orleans! The skilled drivers deftly navigated the bus while the guide provided an in-depth view into how, when and why New Orleans developed into the city it is today.

Well worth the money!!!

James_H, Mar 2026
We enjoyed our Hop On Hop Off experience. There were several friendly tour guides we'd like to give a shout out to...Ellen & Trudy; Steve & Ellroy; and even though Nicoll wasn't a tour guide she kept us entertained while waiting on the bus. The tour itself was very informative and interesting. We had 3 day passes so we were able to use the bus as a means to jump off and go out to eat then jump back on to return to our hotel. Saved us a lot of UBER fares and well worth the money plus you got to learn all about the New Orleans area too!

Bucket List Trip

Liz_M, Mar 2026
Excellent way to get around the districts and to hop on and off off where you want to. The drivers all had excellent customer service skills and the commentator s were very knowledgable and helpful. Really would suggest this experience to travellers. We had the three day pass which was perfect.

Scenic Review

Great to see the city and learn about its history. Wonderful and cooperative employees. Relaxing and informative.

Great way to see the city without having to drive yourself

Steven_C, Mar 2026
Always like using these Hop-on, Hop-off buses. Gave us a good look at various hotspots, so we knew where to go later. The traveling commentary is very informative, and enjoyed the guided tour of the Garden District which was included in the price.

So so

gary_o, Mar 2026
Did not use, hard to find stop near me was not worth the hundred plus dollars we spent trying to utilize it

Great tour guides!

Teresa_B, Mar 2026
We do hop on/off buses all over the world, and this is our first with a live guide! Our bus guide, Chris, was awesome, fun, funny, and super informative! We wish we had him for the whole day!! Thanks to Lita for driving us safely. We also LOVED our Garden District walking tour guide, Colin! He was a wealth of information on the history, culture, architecture, greenery, local spots, and current events. We definitely recommend the multi day pass, because it includes the walking tour!
