Great walking tour

Our guide today, Miriam, was very good. Gave us lots of great information about Lisbon, its history and those that governed this fascinating city. Great advice about visiting the Alfama district as well. It was a shame we were not here long enough. Can fully recommend this walking tour mist flat, only about 200 metres uphill.

I loved the fact that we only went to family owned places and tried traditional Portuguese dishes! It was a great value- we were full by the end of the tour, our guide was friendly even through we had a large group and even though we had a large group (13) he talked to everyone. It was a 3 1/2 hour tour and we loved every minute of it!

Great Tour

The monastery does not have any informational placards or references for the historical significance of the artifacts and architecture inside, such as you would see in a traditional museum. This is intentional to preserve the interior. Thus, a tour like this is absolutely critical to understanding the significance and context of what you’re viewing. I would highly recommend it, and our guide Rui was an extremely well informed and articulate guide.

The flavors of Lisboa

This was our first food and wine walking tour. Led by our guide, Pedro, we walked through a few areas of Lisboa sampling different kinds of wines and eating a variety of foods. We were able to eat things we otherwise might not have had the opportunity to eat. Never had green wine before this experience. It was enjoyable engaging with other people from different parts of the world. Pedro was professional and engaging. I would recommend this experience without hesitation.

Excellent well informed trip to the Alfama area. My wife felt intimidated by the hills & has not ridden an ebike before. Perfect walking tour

Katarina was an excellent guide. She infused humor with great story telling. She is knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon and the two hour walk covered many major architectural landmarks. She included a couple spots to sit out of the sun. Well paced, informative and a great start to our visit to Lisbon. My only suggestion is that. Viator should not leave the cost optional. Some visitors took advantage of the payment structure.

Our guide was great. She had her own amplifier when speaking in the van and driving at the same time. We saw three major areas. Sintra, the lighthouse, Ciscais, and Pena Palace. Our guide know short cuts on the hike to Pena Palace and where to skip the line for snacks.

Claudia was excellent at showing us the highlights of this historic neighborhood. She mixed in history, architecture, and even botanical references along the way. Superb Experience

Marta was one of the most knowledgeable guides we have had in any tour. She knows so much history and tied that in with every dish we tried. We all had so much fun with her…even our teenagers were engaged and had a great time. The dishes were truly secret and she gave tips on how to navigate the hilly streets…secret elevators! We were a group of 10 ages 14-80 and we all loved it! Highly recommend
