This review is coming a little later even though I did this a while back because I forgot I hadn’t done one: and yet I’m still able to write it as though it was done yesterday because of how incredible the tour was. I ended up being the only one on the tour but the guide still committed to showing me around. Not only was he so generous in his sharing, he is so knowledgeable and respectable in his field and has made many contributions. In addition, it was so fun being able to do it in an open-air buggy vs being in a bus traveling around and it just changes the experience entirely. I got to see all the major sights and walked away with such rich perspectives. Couldn’t recommend this enough

We were in DC for my daughter’s law school graduation celebrating with family! This tour was the perfect activity for our entire family! We learned so much about history and museums. Highly recommend Yohannes!

Highly recommend this tour! It was fun and engaging for our group, who were ages 18 to 80+! It was customized to our interests and we learned all sorts of interesting tidbits about DC history!

We were confirmed upon posting full payment one month prior to tour. We showed up and waited 15 minutes with NO indication of cart arriving. I called the number on the ticket and was advised that the tour was cancelled. We received NO notification in advance of the tour and wasted an entire evening of our 4 night stay in DC. At 8:04 pm that evening (after my vendor call) I got an email saying our credit card had been refunded—but way too little too late. Their communication is terrible as we should have been notified in advance of this cancellation and would have made other plans. VERY Disappointing.

Yes due to the July 4th event all the memorials were shutdown no were to drive. I understand you disappointment. I am frustrated because of so many cancellations. I apologized.
If you comeback any time in the next one year, please call us and we will give you a complete complementary private tour.

This was a wonderful experience. It was difficult to make a choice on tours, because there are so many operators. I’m glad we chose this tour! Our guide was informative, kind, and knowledgeable. We walked away having learned so much. I’ve been to D.C many times for work and vacation, and have been on several tours, but this, by far, was the best. He gave great directions throughout the tour, so we knew exactly what to expect. We had plenty of time at all of the stops. We were sad to see the night come to a close. We would definitely book again! Thank you!

We had a great time on Saturday night with our monuments tour with Johannes. He has a wealth of information and our whole family enjoyed listening as he drove us all around. He joked around with our kids and was so kind. We all said this was our favorite part of our trip.

Great experience! Tour was on time, stops for photos. Guide had lots of stories. If you are hard of hearing I'd sit closer to the driver.

It was extremely comfortable in the golf cart and our guide was extremely knowledgeable of Washington DC…..
He dropped us off at the end of the tour in an area where we could get a Uber a lot easier…

Johannes gives the best tour in DC! Seeing all of the sites at night in the summer is a bucket list trip for me. He made sure that I saw everything and had time to walk around and get all the pictures I ever wanted. It was the best tour I've ever taken. I will recommend it to everyone! Take this instead of the double decker bus. It's so much better!

We all loved it!!! Great history lesson. Johanes was very knowledgeable. The opened aired golf cart was fun and such a superior way to see all the monuments/museums and buildings. It’s also such an incredible experience to see the monuments at night under the lights. Completely different than the daytime.

I was in DC for work and had one free night to sightsee. When the weather report came out (very cold!) Johannes reached out and offered to reschedule. When I told him I wasn’t available, he graciously offered the tour, despite the poor weather and low bookings. Because it was just me, he even picked me up from my hotel.
Johannes was kind, informative, and friendly. He had so much information about the history of DC and insight into the different museums, monuments and neighborhoods. We took quick stops at many of the monuments, although it was very cold so I opted to see the sites faster. On a regular night, you’d have plenty of time to see everything.
The golf cart was comfortable and felt safe. A much more fun way to see the city! And a great overview if you’re limited on time.
Great tour and would highly recommend!

This was such a a good time and worth every dollar. I ended up having my own private tour, it was cold but there were blankets and a good time was had. My guide was so knowledgeable and we got out and walked to various sights so I could see the memorial. I can not wait to bring my family back and do this again.

The weather is too cold in November in Washington DC to take a tour on a golf cart at night. Even though it was 70° during the day and quite comfortable by the time the sunset while we were moving, it was windy and too cold.

Thanks for the comment. I don’t have the control over the weather, It was the customer booking. We provide the best tour. however I asked the customer to use our blanket cover. Unfortunately it’s what it is.
