Our tour finishes at the Skagway Small boat harbor where the SV Hopscotch ties up. From here its a short walk to the cruise ships or back to town. These is also a city shuttle that circulates people through town and to the ships.

Be aware of the road to Dyea

The sail was cancelled. I booked the ebike. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Be aware however that the dirt road to Dyea is hardpacked washboard with much loose gravel and stones making for unsteady balance. Narrow road also has tour shuttles, trucks and large SUVs pass by near you. Scenary was super.

Trail and sail

We did the trail and sail. E-bikes were so fun! We went to the most beautiful place on earth! Then we did the sailboat ride- Brendon was very knowledgeable and friendly! We didn’t get to get out of the cove- which I think might have been due to lack of wind??? Other than that, it was beautiful and relaxing. We saw a seal and a bald eagle. No whales but he told us this isn’t the place to see them.
