Baseball history buffs will love the tour. Time went very fast. Would have loved to go into dugout, as mentioned in description, not just look in from the fan seats.

This is a must see tour. Even if you are not a baseball fan, it is well worth it. Our tour guide Jack was great. He gave so much background on the ballpark and how it fit in San Diego.

Our tour guide was named John, he was friendly, funny, gave us a lot of info about the team, the park, the city. He was very easy to talk to. He made the tour fun. Check in with super easy. If you are visiting from out of town and staying in that area, it’s super simple just to walk to the park. I came from Phoenix, when I left it was 105 outside and in San Diego, it was 70° so the change in weather was amazing.
I would highly recommend taking a tour of the ballpark

Our family of five had an outstanding experience touring Petco Park, thanks to our incredible guide, Ismael. From the very beginning, his energy, knowledge, and enthusiasm made the tour engaging for every one of us.
He had a great way of connecting with both adults and kids, sharing stories, fun facts, and behind‑the‑scenes details that made each stop feel meaningful. Whether we were in the dugout, the locker room, the press box, or taking in the views from the upper levels, Ismael made sure we understood what made each area special.
What impressed us most was how personal he made the experience. He learned our names, encouraged questions, and made sure no one felt rushed. It genuinely felt like he cared about giving our family a memorable visit.
Petco Park is already a beautiful stadium, but having someone as passionate and knowledgeable as Ismael guiding us made the tour exceptional. We left with great memories and a deeper appreciation for the ballpark.
If you’re visiting San Diego, we highly recommend this tour — and if you’re lucky enough to get Ismael, you’re in for something truly special.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Petco Park! Our guide, Jan, was fantastic—friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. She shared fascinating stories and behind-the-scenes details about the park’s history, its day-to-day operations, the players, the organization, and the many people who work behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly.
Petco Park itself is an impressive and beautiful ballpark, and Jan’s enthusiasm made the experience even better. We learned so much and gained a whole new appreciation for the Padres organization. As huge Phillies fans, we never expected to leave San Diego cheering for another ballpark, but we definitely left as Petco Park fans! Highly recommend this tour to any baseball fan visiting the area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The tour was a birthday gift to family members who are HUGE SD Padres fans. They had the best time. Truly experienced parts of the park they had never seen. Highly recommend the tour, they had a blast.

Be prepared to walk a good amount of stairs. Not bad, just be ready for it so wear good shoes. The guide was awesome and very knowledgeable. Joke were funny and he took us at a good pace to enjoy the trip

We were disappointed because we didn’t get to go in the dugout or see the clubhouse because there are only certain times that is permitted. Wouldn’t have done the tour if we knew that

Excellent tour and experience. We got a fantastic behind the scenes look at the park and it was extra cool because opening day is this week so there was a lot more than usual going on. Highly recommend the tour. As an FYI you get 10% off to the team store with your tour sticker so wait until after the tour to buy your gear.

This experience was so fun, and fully exceeded our expectations. We’re locals but love to explore our city like tourists, and this was something neither of us had done. Melanie was the best, and you could tell she loves her job, and that’s just as much a perk for us. Highly recommend!

We went with our family of five—our oldest two boys love baseball, our youngest not so much. Mo asked our youngest four different questions about the foul pole because he was the youngest—then laughed and said he’s 0 for four. My son didn’t volunteer, he was singled out because he was the youngest. The tour was otherwise fun, bun singling out an 11 year old and laughing at him was a lame move.

Our tour guide, Ted, was super enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable about Petco and the Padres. We had been to the park numerous times, but seeing all of the behind-the-scenes stuff was awesome! We went in a dugout, the Home Plate Club, got to go down to field level seats, press club… it was truly a fun experience!

Our tour guide, Brad, was very knowledgeable and helpful. Petco park is a beautiful stadium. The tour focused on the fan experience- bars, seating, suites, luxury seating. We saw the visitor locker room. More time on the field or in the dugout/bullpen would have made the experience even better.
