What are people saying about San Diego

We had a great experience...
We had a great experience with Ben, we had a small group and learned a lot about San Diego’s history between having some casual easy going conversations with the group.
We were really pleased with the food and drinks and we did not leave hungry or totally sober.
We got a great taste of old town and Ben was a fantastic tour guide.
Thanks again

Perfect food tour of Little Italy
Exceptional host. Adrianna not only brought the group to experience lots of incredible foods covering a vast variety of Italian foods but had a lot of history to share about the area. You could tell that she loves her job and is passionate about the Italian culture. She had many stories about how the area was developed and changed over time. Could not have been any better. Would do it all over again!

Maria is an ex
Maria was an excellent tour guide and host. We had a wonderful time and great eats at the places on the tour. Maria made sure we all got our food in a timely manner, and was helpful with the few accommodations. She took great photos and supplied a highlight video with pictures from the tour. She was kind and available for whatever was needed. She even held my ice cream so I could get on the carousel. Maria truly made our experience great and memorable

Afternoon Food Tour
This is a good tour to be acquainted with the Gas Lamp quarter. You will be full by the end and will have a good idea of to do on your own. Lydia L from Sidewalk Tours was a great host and provided a brief history of the area, we also walked through Horton Grand Hotel. Our favorites were the Cuban restaurant and the Cali Cream at the end.

Tadeo was great!
Tadeo was a wonderful, knowledgeable and easy-going guide. He did a great job catering to the many personalities in our group and kept everyone happy. It was a busy day at the crossing but he communicated well and everyone got where they needed to be in a timely fashion. The trip back into the states took us an hour from dropoff to our ride back to SD. Not bad!

We always do a food tour in a new city. This tour is a great example why.
Perfect portion size, a wide variety of foods, interesting city history, nice companions, invested tour guide....all the things we look for when we visit a new city. This tour hit all of our wants and knocked them out of the park, (to use a baseball analogy, our tour guide's favorite sport).
Doug, our baseball fan tour guide, was friendly, engaging, and full of interesting city history. The stops along the tour were well selected for the part they play in San Diego's food history. The lumpia (which I had never heard of, but thoroughly enjoyed), the street tacos, the fish tacos, the burgers, the coffee, and the ice cream all had ties to the city. No Starbucks here.
The portion sizes were just right, we ended the tour feeling sated, but not uncomfortably so. The amount a walking was just right, too. We weren't exhausted at the end. All in all, another success from Viator.

San Diego Gas lamp district
The tour was so informative and we went to a nice variety of places, including the baseball field, Mexican restaurant, Greek confusion, etc. at each stop you could choose an alcohol alcoholic or mocktail. I couldn’t decide which was my favorite place. A tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun to be with.

Playing Tourist for the Day!
I’m a local and used unused credit to
play tourist for a day in San Diego! This was so much fun and learned so much about Little Italy! Little Italy is absolutely beautiful during the holidays. Take the coaster if you’re staying north San Diego to downtown. It’s a safe short walk to Little Italy!🇮🇹🍷🍝

Extraordinary Experience!
Paul Anthony picked us up right on time. He was engaging and educated us on the trip to Bernardo winery, which is the oldest winery in Southern California. He gave us a tour of the grounds with the full history. He taught us all the “s’s” of a proper wine tasting. He gave us time to do some shopping at the lovely shops. We met the lovely Gelato shop owner, who paired our wine with just the right chocolate. Then, we headed to Cordiano winery, for a fantastic margarita pizza paired with lovely wines and a fantastic view of the valley right before and at sunset. Also, on the patio, we were swooned with a wonderful and talented “Barry White” type crooner, Jay, who also played amazing saxophone.
Paul took amazing pictures of us for our social media.
It was a magical and unforgettable day.

Beautiful way to spend a morning in San Diego
Great experience, the crew was friendly and accommodating. Food was great, of good quality with lots of sweet and savory options, and served buffet style. Our group enjoyed the made to order omelet station. Our champagne/sparkling cider glasses were never empty! Inside where we ate was comfortable temp, not too hot or cold, but pack layers for going outside on the decks for photo opportunities. Kids aged 12 & 10 enjoyed this as well. We would definitely do another cruise with this company, maybe we will try the dinner cruise but we’d definitely even do the brunch again!

Great local experience
This was the main day fun experience we’ve had. We felt like our guide just welcomed us into her family. She asked a few questioned which helped her zero in on what we wanted which was a “local” experience. She nailed it. She was funny, knowledgeable, took us to some really great places to eat and drink.

Walk, Eat, Drink, Learn
This was an incredible get to know a city by its food, beverages, and its neighborhoods. Humberto was a tremendous guide, assisting our party of five through a city that is one part NYC, one part LA, and one part a friendly small town.
Be prepared to eat tacos, sip tequilas that may remind you of fine wine, try a fruity local beverage. You will walk it all off.
The hardest part of the trip is crossing the border to and from Mexico. Expect long lines. But when crossing through USA to Mexico your guide will be there. Humberto greeted us warmly and made sure our full day tour was enjoyable. It was more like a trip with a friend who was proud to show off his city.
