Climb aboard the trolley at any of its 11 convenient stopping points (see Itinerary below) any time during its normal operating hours. Trolleys come to each stop every 30 minutes. One of the many sights you can visit during the course of your ride is Old Town State Historic Park, often called the “Jamestown of the Pacific,” where you can discover the history of California’s founding amidst the area’s range of 19th-century buildings. There are also stops along the way for the world-famous San Diego Zoo, which houses a virtual Noah’s Ark of wildlife, the USS Midway and the historic Gaslamp Quarter.

Operating Schedule: Times vary depending on season. Operates 9:00am to 6 pm (last tour departs Old Town at 4 pm) from March 11-October 29th; Operates 9:00am to 5 pm (last tour departs Old Town at 3 pm) from October 30th-March 10th. Trolleys arrive at each boarding location approximately every 20 minutes. Guests will be given brochures when they begin the tour and can refer to the schedules printed in the brochure to see the first tour time, last tour time, and last re-boarding time at each boarding location. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Very informative, comfortable and lots to see. And if you are disabled you can enjoy the tour. You don't have to get off the trolley unless you want to. I would do it again. We started at site number 1. Driver James was excellent 👌🏾

Great way to see the city. Traveling to Coronado Island was especially fun. Lots of things to do at Balboa Park.

This was something that turned out better than I was expecting. My wife suggested this and it was an eye roll and whatever from me. But it was really cool to learn about the different parts of the city during the ride. One of our drivers, Jack, was great. Even when we got stuck at Balboa Park because the trolleys were running behind, they sent an empty trolley to pick us all up. Great company and a lot of fun. Quick tip, that sun doesn’t mess around and the back part of the trolley is open air, so if you plan on riding around with any exposed skin, sunscreen!

Some of the stops are difficult to find. Our stop was changed due to the games but no information ahead about it. I paid $55 parking just to loose it to find another stop. Not a good start !

This tour was a good way to see all of San Diego with no obligation to spend a long time in any one spot. You can make the tour as long or short as you want to. We chose Coronado Island, Fisherman’s Village and Old Town. I would recommend. However I also suggest updating the equipment so people who are hard of hearing can fully benefit from the information shared by the guides.
