Your evening begins at the marina where you can board your boat for a scenic Mission Bay cruise. Instead of getting caught up in crowds, this boat trip allows you to see top landmarks from a distance, including the vast SeaWorld complex. As well as showcasing the local area from a new vantage point, the tour also reveals stunning unobstructed sunset views.
While watching the sunset, you can listen to atmospheric on-board music and enjoy the luxury of traveling on a boat that’s equipped with a bar, with plenty of drinks available to purchase. This experience is very relaxing on the ocean. You can see beautiful sunsets and it’s a great experience for family and friends. We booked this experience to celebrate a birthday and the staff was so kind and generous and overall just made the birthday celebration a success.

It was a nice little excursion. You are only in the bay so it isn’t a chilly as it would be on open water so a little sweater or long sleeve shirt will be enough. Was disappointed in that clouds blew in and no sunset was seen and no compensation offered like a discount on future tour.
The crew was young and very friendly and the “captain” kept up an interesting dialogue during the cruise.
Tip was asked for but no obligation at the end of the journey so in a way felt like a lot of money for no joy.

Easy, comfortable trip. No choppy waters! Lots of seating, with a bar and snacks available for purchase. We unfortunately did not get to see the sunset, as clouds rolled in. But...we did enjoy a fun conversation with another couple. My one disappointment was in not having sites and landmarks, etc., pointed out to us over the sound system. I know it's not the Disneyland Jungle Cruise, but I fully expected sharing of info. Still, I recommend it.

This is a professional company, well organized and friendly. The scenery was beautiful and the bay is so big! The only drawback for me, being in our 50s and 60s, was the constant loud dance music the entire tour. It was more of a young party atmosphere, as I just wanted to hear the wind, the water, and the birds. But it was worth what we paid and enjoyable despite the noise.

too crowded for the size of the boat

For context, our vessel has a capacity of 148 guests, so there is typically plenty of room on board, though we understand it can still feel crowded depending on where you're standing or how groups are spread out at different points in the trip.
Our Mission Bay sunset cruise is designed as a relaxed, scenic ride rather than a guided, narrated tour, so detailed commentary on landmarks and the area isn't part of the standard experience. That said, we understand having more of that information adds to the enjoyment of the cruise, and we appreciate you sharing that perspective with us.

They ride was good even though it was overcast all day, and we didn't see the sunset. It was too late to cancel. The weather was very cool at 70°. The best picture I took was the sun peeking through the clouds when we first began the ride.

Well……. On the boat was so much fun. We were able to see the Beautiful sunset. The crew on the boat was so friendly and helpful. Overall on board the boat were super satisfied. Unfortunately, we didn’t like processing at the ticket booth. We had to stand in line for a while, when we get to the counter, they were telling us to sign the waiver paper, then we have to get out from the line. We felt bad for the other people that was in line that we came back had to cut the line.
Anyway…….. overall on the boat we’re super fun.

Firstly, dress appropriately. Although it was 25C that day, it felt way cooler at sunset. That was on me! Staff are friendly but don't offer more than asking if we wanted to buy anything. Lastly, the captain seemed to miss getting to the ideal spot to view the sunset on time. Win some, lose some. I’ll do a day cruise the time ;-).

On our night, the bay was as smooth as silk. We had a clear evening and lovely sunset . A few clouds in the sky made for great pictures. The staff came through the boat and Big Dave explained what we were sailing by and gave us a short history of the area and the bay. We had a good time and learned more about San Diego. It was pleasant and relaxing way to end out our day in San Diego. The boat had a bar and some snacks for sale. Drinks good. We did not purchase snacks. Everything about this trip was smooth sailing.
