Check in at your departure point at San Diego's Seaport Village half an hour before your tour commences, and make sure to give yourself plenty of time to find parking. Then, climb aboard an amphibious vehicle for your 1.45-hour adventure. Start by cruising down the streets of San Diego before heading straight into the San Diego Bay.
Listen to commentary about the history of the California city as you pass by key attractions such as the Embarcadero, Harbor and Shelter Islands, Point Loma, the Maritime Museum of San Diego, and the USS Midway Museum. If you're lucky, you may even spot a California sea lion. At the end of the tour, hold on tight as your amphibious vehicle will make its way back onto the land and drops you at your departure point.

It was such fun! Beautiful weather and the time on the water was the best. The sea lions were very active and we loved it. Our guide, Jim, was wonderful-so knowledgeable and personable. The captain was also excellent. We would do this again for sure.

Parking on Embarcdero is not so easy. 5 hours 40.00...
Get there early due to finding the truck/sea boat.

Captain Johnny and 1st Mate Jewels made our tour a pretty great time. They were friendly and knowledgable, and Cap'n Johnny did a great job of slowing the vehicle for photo opportunities. I would recommend this to anyone visiting san diego.

Our Seal Tour experience was phenomenal! I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting San Diego. It was a wonderful experience for my family and me, and we enjoyed every minute of it. We especially loved our tour captain and crew member, who did an amazing job sharing the history of San Diego and keeping the tour fun and informative. Their knowledge, energy, and friendliness made the experience even more memorable. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

My family of 5 enjoy the ride. When thru the street then the bay and into the ocean back to street total 1h45m. Was a good ride but still expensive.

So much fun to go on ‘land’ and then ‘sea’ aboard the Seal. We saw dolphins, brown pelicans, sea lions. The guide was very informative. I was especially touched by him as we were with a group of special needs young people. He was so kind and inclusive.

Once we sorted out the tickets and correct location it was great. I gave this one star less because Viator has confusing details for where to meet to get your tickets and board. I had to call the business and change our time and location since where the main address listed 825 Harbor Drive was not right and we didn’t have enough time to get to 1004 N. Harbor Dr. Very confusing since 825 is all over the ticket several times and 1000 only in the fine print.

This was a great time, taking a look around at some of the elements of downtown San Diego, then getting on the water and motoring around the western Harbor. Our driver and our tour guide did a great job finding interesting things and giving info on them, including a decent number of temporary things! I especially loved that they had blankets available, since the Harbor wind can get chilly.

The staff was friendly and professional. The equipment being operated was clean and well maintained. What makes this fun is the uniqueness of the transportation. It's something to tell a friend you tried. Just remember to bring a jacket as it gets cold out on the water. The location is also prime as there's lots if dining options when you return to Seaport Village. Probably better to eat after if your sea legs are questionable.

Dress warm, use the restroom before it starts and dont drink water. The tour is about 1 hour with no bathroom breaks. Lots of fun. My birthday boy lived it. He is 9.

This was a fantastic tour on both land and sea. Captain Kent and First Mate Bret were awesome! Got to learn a lot about San Diego and the best part was seeing sea lions up close! I highly recommend this tour!
