IMPORTANT: To optimize your time in Venice, we suggest to have a snack during the trip. If you do not have time to organize for it before the departure, the trains always have at least one restaurant/bar wagon and or vending machines. Every wagon has its toilet, we also suggest to use, instead of queuing at the rail station.
NOTE: Because of small docks and lots of traffic, private boats cannot wait for more than 3-5 minutes for your embarkation. Drivers require maximum punctuality to guides and guests.
WHATSAPP: we advice to share with us your mobile number with a Whatsapp connection. On your train, you can recharge your mobile phones with individual electrical and USB sockets and accede to a free WiFi connection.
GLASS FACTORIES: Glass factories allow guests to visit their laboratories and arrange private, complimentary demonstrations. After the demonstration, they will lead you to their precious showroom, where they showcase their best artworks. If you are interested in purchasing large items, they can arrange safe shipping. The visit is worth it, even if you are not looking to make a purchase but enjoy it.

I must insist everyone reading this review. Take the trip to Venice! It is a must see, an experience to remember if you have never been. Claudia was our guide, and she did a terrific job of showing me and my wife around Venice. Venice is a massive maze, but she navigated it like the true professional that she is. Claudio thank you for giving us such a good woman to show us around. Even our driver Remo was considerate of our safety to and from the train station. The Private Day Trip From Rome To Venice is a must. Thank you to the whole team.

Fantastic flexible tour without the rigid schedule of a group tour - highly recommend

From the moment we booked the tour until we were dropped off back at our rental suite we felt well taken care of. There was plenty of communication to ensure we had everything we needed and where we needed to connect with our guides. Our tour guide for the islands was Daria and she was such a joy to spend the day with. She gave us lots of interesting information about the island as well as free time to roam on our own. She also had several great food recommendations and took some great pics with our phone. Our driver was Remo and he was always right where we were told he would be, he was courteous and speedy but safe in getting us to and from the train station. In the island tours we also got a quick tour of the Murano glass factory and we got to meet one of the last lace makers of Burano. If you take this tour, the factory is not in full operation on Sundays so I’d recommend a week day as you would see a lot more production. Even so though we saw a gentleman whom been doing glass blowing for 72 years and made it look simple. Anna was the lace maker we met and she was very nice and there is a translator there that was able to facilitate our conversation. This tour was definitely expensive. The one on one with the guide however made an experience that we will remember way more so than some of the others we have taken. It was like being toured around the islands and Venice with a friend. If you have the financial means - take this tour!

Absolutely Amazing!

Amazing from start to finish. Alex was prompt with pickup and drop off. Alessia was waiting and stayed with us until we boarded. Train ride was relaxing. The only concern was our return ticket showed Napoli so we were a little confused but all was good, we got on right train. Now for the day, Claudia was very friendly and knowledgeable. She provided us with so much history of the islands. We were treated like royalty. Thanks for the most incredible time.

What a great day! Our guide, Donatella, gave us the best visit to Venice, Murano and Burano. It was a long day, but we were not rushed at any location (although we cut it pretty close getting to our train back to Rome, but we made it with 2 minutes to spare :)), had time to look around, get snacks and dinner. Donatella gave us so much information about each island and helped us get a good spot for a gondola ride. I highly recommend this tour!!

Highlight of our vacation

This trip to Venice was the highlight of our vacation. My 82 year old mother said she had always secretly wished to ride in a gondola! Our guide Daria handled our group well (kids, adults, and several older ladies). It was nice not to have to worry about logistics. The communication from Elisabetta was great.

Venice experience

The family wanted to experience as much of Italy as possible so we chose this tour from Rome. We were picked up at our hotel on time so we could make the 7:35 am train to Venice. A provider representative had our tickets at the train station and showed us where to board our train. The ride was about 3 hrs each way but comfortable and interesting to see the countryside outside Rome. We had a little difficulty finding our boat in Venice in spite of having directions from the provider. No signs with our name, several small boats. Our family really enjoyed the ride to Murano and Burano. Our Venice tour guide, Danielle, met us after that at the boat dock, holding a Venice flag. We walked through the city but didn’t go into the Basilica or Doges Palace as I thought we would. Long train ride back to Rome.

Hello Cynthia and thank you for your feedback! Yes… Renato told me that there were a lot of boats at that time and even if you had his boat number it was difficult to see it. He is sorry for the sign; he always has it. We are happy you enjoyed Venice! Correct, visiting the Basilica and the Doge’s Palace is not included, as you could read in the tour description before booking. It is very difficult to organize it in such a limited time, for several reasons. Furthermore, we give the chance to experience the gondola ride. In fact we have an alternative without the tour of the islands, allowing to visit the Basilica and more. We take davantage of this response to invite our future visitors to read carefully what is included and what not, and fell free to ask for any custmization! We were very disappointed by this tour. We did a dozen tours over the course of 3 weeks and this one was the most expensive. Although, they did do exactly what they described, you did go on a boat at brief times, and you did have a train ride, and you had a tour guide in Venice, the experience was lacking. The boat ride had you drop off to a glass blowing company, which was nice but took a lot of time out of the day and was ridiculously priced and then had another stop which was fine, where we grabbed a quick bite to eat on our own and shopped quickly. The Venice tour guide was kind and knew a ton of information about the city, but given the price of the tour, I would have expected us to be going into some of the main things in Venice instead of just walking around the city all day not really seeing anything up close. There was a mishap with the transportation in the morning as well, but they addressed it. If the cost was different, I would have given it a higher rating.

Hello Mrs. Rebecca! Thank you for the 2 stars that could be more if the tour costs were inferior to what they are... I agree, but Venice is so expensive that we cannot improve this aspect. Also, Murano local genuine glass artworks are VERY expensive. Elsewhere one can find fakes at a lower cost. We appreciate you stating that everything we delivered on this tour is well explained, including the quick lunch, not included in the price. At 1:17, your words regarding the boat tour: "Good, Marcello has been great." The boat was at your disposal for 3,5 hours to go Murano and Burano ( the most expensive of our costs, we invite you to check online). At 6:54, when you were on the train, you wrote: "Cleo did a good job. We enjoyed the boat tour a lot." She also brought you on a short gondola ride. I am sorry if you expected to go inside the monuments. On 3 hours walking tour, it is impossible to add entrance tickets. In fact, we propose: "You will explore the main highlights like Rialto Bridge, Bridge of Sights, St. Marks Square buildings and Basilica (from the outside) and other sites you will see on the way." OMGosh...we had the most amazing day with Cleo!!! She's a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable & detailed with every area she took us to in Venice. She made the day so inviting & comfortable, like we were visiting a friend! Every part of this Venice tour was perfect except for arriving back in Rome. To start the day, we were picked up promptly at 7am at our VRBO & taken to the train station where we were met by a guide to make sure we boarded the correct train. Cleo was there to greet us in Venice and of course gave an outstanding tour, she stayed with us until our train back to Rome. Our train got delayed during the return making us late arriving back in Rome. Our driver was a bit of a jerk because of our delay which wasn't our fault. This was just a small blip in our amazing day in Venice...Thank You Cleo!!!

All I have to say is WOW!! My husband and I were so well taken care of on this amazing full day excursion from Rome to Venice. The team had the day organized down to the last detail, from a guide meeting us at the train in the morning with our tickets to exact directions to our boat driver in Venice, to helping reserve our lunch spot to good advice and what to see in Venice. Every guide we dealt with was wonderful and warm. This excursion also came with amazing surprises, a tour of the official Murano glass studio and a look at lace making in Burano, an island of color and wonder!! This was such a special day and I thank all the wonderful guides who made it happen, with effectiveness, hospitality and smoothness. Highly recommend!!
