Terrible. Experience

The worst experience. Was so excited to visit the colosseum on our last day in Rome. Got to the tour desk 20 mins prior and was told we needed passports or drivers license to enter the Colosseum. We had these items back at hotel but the return trip would be too late to join the tour. We asked if they could move our tour to afternoon and they said no. Didn’t try to assist or help in anyway. Reached out to Viator for a refund as it is their responsibility to advise conditions of entry. They refused with no explanation. Won’t be using Viator again. They don’t support their customers.

Great tour guide. Very educational and we got to see everything close up. NOTE - this tour is 3 hours (not 1.5 hours as listed on Viator at the time we took the tour). There is a lot of walking and stairs, so bring good shoes!
