The early start was worth it! It's so special to experience Rome in the peaceful morning hours before the rest of the city wakes. Elias was amazing - funny, personable and knowledgeable. The cafe we stopped at was a perfect way to end our ride. Dress warmly - it's surprisingly chilly. Highly recommend!

This tour was one of the best things I’ve ever experienced! Everyone visiting Rome MUST do this. Elias was brilliant, funny, engaging, a great storyteller and photographer . This is the best way to see the major landmarks and learn a bit of history. 10/10 . I would do this tour over and over.

Worth the early wake up!

This was a great experience!! Getting to see Rome wake up was amazing. We did this on our first morning in Rome and it helped us know what we wanted to come back to later. Super efficient and peaceful way to get to know the city. Also our host, Bruno, was knowledgeable and patient in showing us all of the important Roman sites. Would recommend this to anyone with a short stay in Rome!

If you spend your money on one thing when you travel to Rome, it has to be this tour! To be able to cycle round Rome while the city is sleeping and the sun is slowly rising is a memory I will never forget. You get to see all the best sights in the glorious sunrise, all while Elias is teaching you everything there is to know about ancient and current Rome. Although the sites and the experience were amazing, I think my group and I would just pay money to hang out with Elias again! His knowledge and enthusiasm is incredible, and he will make sure that you’re laughing and learning all the way across the city. I cannot recommend this tour enough, and I will probably be talking about it forever! :)

Such a fun experience! My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon and only had a couple days in Rome. This was the best way to see the city without the stress of navigating crowds. The tour guide was very informative and entertaining! I Highly recommend.

The tour was AMAZING. Felipe was such a great tour guide. He explained everything so vividly and was considerate and patient with all of us!!! He was always smiling and VERY approachable and interactive. He made the trip extremely memorable. This was the HIGHLIGHT of our entire Europe trip. We were telling everyone on our cruise to do the bike tour. 5 stars isn't even enough to say how good it was. DEFINITELY worth the money.

We went as a group and were very concerned about the traffic in rome while riding e bikes! Our tour guide Daurte was amazing! He made us all feel safe and capable! He was very patient, knowledgeable, funny and interactive in a friendly relaxed setting! The streets were mostly empty and he took us to some of the most beautiful outlooks and shared Romes history and beauty! This was the best thing we did in rome! Request Duarte for an amazing tour!

A great experience. Our group was larger than the advertised maximum which caused a few logistical issues but it didn’t detract from the tour. Great bikes, great sights. Fun to zip through Rome in the darkness and see the sights before the crowds. An energetic guide, playing music, and keeping the group together. Highly recommend.

Do not think twice, just book this! What an increidble way to see so much of the city in such a unique way. Our guide Elias was *phenomenal* and provided a wonderful tour of the city, highlighting MANY sites and their history - but things we expected (Trevi Fountain, Colosseum) and many sites we did not know about. Lots of hidden gems and jewels. Iconic sites, including breakfast. Trust me, you want to do this!

Excellent experience! Going early in the morning may seem awful but we saw all the main attractions with great light for photos and with zero crowds! Elias was our guide and very very knowledgeable of Rome and how to safely navigate the streets with a group of bikers. The E-bikes were great as well….the power assist made it easy pedalling in any situation We aren’t “bike” people and we did fine. You do need to know HOW to ride a bike though.

This is a must do in Rome ! Our guide Elias was so great, he’s funny, knowledgeable and wonderful. There are no crowds early morning, you beat the heat and the sites he brings you to are so incredible ! You get to see so much and riding the ebike is easy - make sure you know how to ride a bike though ! The is probably one of the best things if not the best thing I’ve done in Rome !

Don’t even hesitate booking this! Traveling with 5 teenagers who love sleeping late, so I knew it would be rough getting them up, but they all unanimously agreed it was the best part of our Rome visit! Bikes are the best way to truly see the city (esp if you don’t have the patience for walking tours or those super hot hop on hop off buses). Bruno was fantastic, he kept us interested, shared history, played music on his clip on speaker, and brought us to the best coffee in Rome. 10/10, book it.

This was such a fun tour! It’s a bit early but our tour guide brought such great energy that it woke us right up. Telling jokes, playing music while we rode down the streets- it was a great time. We saw the main attractions- and also some spots we wouldn’t have ever seen if we hadn’t gone on the tour which I loved. My only regret is that we didn’t book another bike tour on the Appian Way trail with them before we left Rome.

Review: Sunrise in Rome with EsBikeTours If you’re going to wipe out on a Roman cobblestone, do it with style—and at sunrise. That’s what I told myself after my graceful (read: cartoonishly clumsy) tumble about 10 minutes into the Sunrise in Rome e-bike tour with EsBikeTours. But don’t worry—no tourists were harmed in the making of this review. Our guide Duarte handled it like a pro—kind, calm, and probably silently wondering if I had just single-handedly ruined his spotless safety record. (Sorry, Duarte! I hope I didn’t make the insurance premiums go up.) He made sure we all felt totally comfortable on our bikes and took the time to go over the safety rules. Once I got over my “oopsie,” I was back in the saddle, literally, and the rest of the tour was nothing short of magical. We cruised through the eternal city as it slowly woke up, beating the crowds and the chaos. Rome’s landmarks looked even more majestic under the early morning light—like they were posing just for us. Duarte shared fun facts and deep history. The small group of strangers quickly turned into a little morning crew, bonding over our shared awe of the city, and later, cornetti and caffè at the end of the ride. All in all, this was a unique, fun, and heartwarming experience—made even more memorable by my surprise performance of “Tourist Down!” Thank you, Duarte, for your patience, your stories, and making sure I didn’t hurt any other tourist or car. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a one-of-a-kind Roman adventure—with or without a dramatic entrance.

This was by far the favorite tour our group did while in Rome! The bikes were easy to use and helped greatly on the 2-3 hills we rode up. Being able to see everything before the crowds or traffic hit was wonderful. Our guide was very helpful and have great insight to each so we made. If nothing else, do this tour!
