Roman Food Extravaganza!

Exceptional experience! Benni was a fabulous historian and guide. She had personal relationships with the restaurants that we stopped at that made the experience very friendly and inviting. The food was amazing. We now have a friend in Rome!

Excellent tour

Just finished trestavere evening food tour. Had the most amazing time. Francisco was the ultimate professional guide making the Roman food history come alive. Even in the pouring rain he remained upbeat and positive. 5/5 would recommend

Great tour with Francesco

Thomas_I, Apr 2025
Did the food tour with my 17 year old daughter. Our guide Francesco was outstanding. His knowledge and insight of the neighborhoods and the history of Italian food was very interesting. He made the tour really fun and feed us like we couldn't believe!! I wish we had done this our first night in Rome as his insights and tips we were able to use the rest of our trip.

It’s an absolute must!

An absolute must when you come to Rome - we tried food in some lovely family businesses, lots of amazing food - the tiramisu is fabulous! It’s a great way to spend a few hours. Our guide was super knowledgeable and gave lots of great tips of where not to eat during your stay !

A must tour to do

A fabulous tour of food, sooo much food, do not eat before doing this you get soo much. Roberto, Robbie, was a fountain of knowledge and took us to some amazing places. Totally worth the money, soo much fun 😁

Grab your friends, get a feel for the city and try new foods

This is a great way to learn a little more about Italian cuisine and to get the best of the best in terms of food. We enjoyed our guide, Mattia. He seem to know everyone and was very knowledgeable about Italian food, How it is prepared, how to pair foods and more. this would be fun to do with other couples if you are traveling together. Just know that there is a lot of walking from place to place. You will not be at a table at every place, but you will eat delicious food. I have never seen so many restaurants, gelato shops, meat and cheese shops, Cafés, and pizza places. Having this tour helped us to get a feel for the city, stop in places we never would have and try things we never had before.

Fantastic!

Must do!

Francesco was the most amazing tour guide and this is a must do the minute you arrive in Rome. You will be full, happy and know all the secrets to eating in Rome. Run, don’t walk to this tour!

Great food tour and we and a fantastic experience

Jim_F, Oct 2023
This was a great food tour and we and a fantastic experience. Our food tour guide was Francesco, and he was the best! He provided a nice balance of visiting/tasting food at restaurants, and what to look for in a good, family run restaurant. Also, as we went from restaurant to restaurant, he gave a nice tour and history of the many sites along the way.

Best Rome Foodie Tour EVER!!!

Jerry_M, Jun 2023
Robbie was absolutely amazing. Truly one of THE BEST tour of our lives. The food was delicious and filling, her stories were so fun and interesting, and tour was so personal and perfect! Both of our kids had an amazing time, even our VERY PICKY 14 year old son. He ranked this as his favorite thing to do on this trip! Thanks Robbie for ensuring our family had such a great time and intro to truly Roman cuisine! We’ll definitely see you next time we return to Rome!! AND…we’ll be sure to come hungry. 💝

Fantastic fun and food.

We loved the knowledge and passion of our tour guide Robbie. She gave us a great insight into how Romans like to eat and their passion with food. Robbie kept us laughing and stuffed with fantastic food for the evening.

Delicious and Informative Tour for Adults and Children

scriley13, Jun 2019
Roberta, a born and breed Roman, provided us with a very personable food tour for myself, my wife and our two children (7 & 10 years old). The tour focused on the Roman culture with some history (focused around food), and she directed us to the eateries that the local Romans frequent. We were able to sample several different Roman delicacies, with Suppli and Spaghetti Carbonara being a couple of favorites. One of the many things that we learned was that Tiramisu is not traditional made with alcohol, which we appreciated since 3 of the 4 of us do not drink. My family gives this tour 4 Thumbs (or rather, Forks) up!
