We had the BEST time on this tour! It was a fantastic way to see a bit of the city and learn a good amount of history while eating absolutely delicious food. Our guide, Eduardo, was amazing. He had a wonderful energy and was incredibly knowledgeable. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone visiting Roma.

Our guide Marco was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He made this tour a wonderful experience for us. 3 hours visiting 4 establishments with outstanding and interesting food choices accompanied by lovely wines. We highly recommend this tour.
This is, hands down, the best food tour we’ve ever done. Ana Maria was an amazing, knowledge guide. She had the perfect mix of history and entertainment, and every single stop was excellent. If you’re going to do one food tour in Italy - do this one!
Amazing and knowledgeable tour! Our guide AnnaMaria was exceptional and we enjoyed spending time with her. She knew all the best food spots and customized it to our liking.
Ilaria was so incredible gracious. We walked into this expecting to be blown away by the food, which we were. What we did not expect was to be blown away by the Roman people and the stories that Ilaria shared with us as we walked.
I would highly recommend this tour as a thing to do early in your trip so you know where the locals eat!

Oh my goodness! This was an incredible experience. I savored every bite and tasted the diverse flavors that Rome has to offer. It was delightful to indulge in all the delicious foods, and most importantly, our tour guide was fantastic! We had a fantastic time, and the food was abundant. So, go hungry and relish the culinary delights!

We booked a small group walking food tour and as it turns out we were the only couple. So it became a private tour with our guide Annamaria. We laughed, ate, drank and talked about life in Trastevere, Rome and Italy in general. This was more than just a food tour. It was also a lesson in history, culture, architecture, etc. We scheduled this tour for our first evening in Rome and I would highly recommend it that everyone does it. It was a great introduction to Rome and an opportunity to “get our feet wet” before embarking on the adventure ahead of us.,

Our guide Anna Marie was fun, knowledgeable and energetic. She taught so much about the Rome food culture which included so much more than we expected. We sampled street food, restaurant sit down dinner, and even a family owned butcher shop. We topped the evening off with some of the best Gelato and know we know why not all gelato is of the same quality. We had fun with our group and had a lovely experience.

I did my first food tour in Rome seven years ago and it was a great experience. Since then, I have tried to do one in every new region/city I travel to. This ranks as one of the best. It was a nice selection of some new foods as well as the Roman classics! My friends are still talking about the fried fish (something I didn't specifically associate with Italian food). The hostess was very fun/ outgoing and provided just the right amount of history and information. Was nice to take a little walk along the way and appreciated ending in the popular Trastevere area. The tour replaced dinner as the food was plentiful and the wine/beer flowed freely. A great value all around.

Great tour with a knowledgable guide. I did deduct 1 star as we were promised certain foods during the tour (trapezzino and pizza) which never happened. We even asked about it and were just told, oh no we aren’t doing that anymore.

Anna Maria was a wonderful tour guide. So knowledgeable about the food but also about the neighborhoods. Come hungry. It’s plenty of food. Breaded Cod and Suppli was our favorite. Highly recommend!

We were lucky enough to have essentially a private tour as our family were the only people present. Annamaria was our guide and she was special. She is a native of Italy and explained various aspects of our food experience – including various pastas, meats, and what is served during the Christmas holidays, which is when we were visiting. She was a wealth of knowledge, very friendly, and was able to find connections with each one of us. Even though it was a wet and cooler evening, we had a memorable experience we won’t soon forget.
You should definitely NOT eat much before you go as the food and drinks are plentiful!

We loved this food tour. A true, authentic food experience, away from all the crowds. Every place we stopped on the tour was "known" for the dishes we sampled and our guide knew the history of each family restaurant. She was so knowledgeable about the area and pointed out places & things of interest along our way. She was such a delight to talk to. We were 2 women traveling alone and felt perfectly safe with our guide. At the end of the food tour we were so full of wonderful, authentic dishes. Now that's a happy experience!
