Seeing the Vatican with Sistine Chapel is over whelming. Just beautiful and the history of Christianity laid out before you. Matteo was great, his knowledge and love of the Vatican city/state made the tour so much more. I recommend pay a little more for skip the line and small group as you can move easier and hear and receive more information. Great service from Vitor from Reservation to after tour.

Fabio was a lovely guide and very informative on all areas of the tour. It was well worth the cost of doing a private guide. He was able to navigate us around most of the crowds and there was no waiting at all! The weather was very hot and he took the time to check in with us and give us time to sit and rest when needed. Overall the service was excellent!

Matteo was an outstanding tour guide making us feel like family. We learned about the incredible history of the Vatican and the Papacy and saw all the highlights. Part of the tour we were able to enjoy a coffee and converse about the structures and locations in great detail. It was an absolutely incredible experience.

Absolutely WOW! My family uses Viator often, and this was the best tour ever! We feel like we lucked up and got the best tour guide ever, Oksana. She shared her knowledge and her passion for art with my family, and we will never forget the experience. The sheer volume of things to see at The Vatican is mind-boggling. Our tour guide showed us the highlights in an expert way, imparting additional expert insight and knowledge. Normally I sort the tour listing by User Rating, then choose from the top of the list. For whatever reason, this tour was around #10 on the sorted list. The 9 tours above it were all sold out on our date. Yet it was pure luck, because we received the very best tour with the very best guide. We were extremely pleased. HIGHLY recommended.
