This pizza making class was the highlight of our Europe trip. Making real Italian pizza and Italy with our 5 year old daughter will be a memory that I won't ever forget. The host was amazing and provided the right amount of technical detail, along with some fun elements for our daughter. It was a great activity and I highly recommend!

Thank you so much for the lovely review! We’re thrilled you had such a great time at the pizza-making class! Chef Cleo will be so happy to hear your kind words 🍕😊 We’re glad you loved the restaurant and the experience, and we truly appreciate the recommendation. Hope to see you again on your next visit to Rome!

We did this event with two young kids (4,6) and had a blast! There was another family with us with young kids also. Overall great experience for the kids! Parents were very happy too. The pizza ended up being very tasty!

Thank you so much for your great review! We’re delighted to hear that both your kids - and the parents too - had such a fun time at the pizza-making class 🍕😊 It’s wonderful to know the experience worked so well for young children and that the pizzas were a hit! We hope to welcome your family back again soon.

Our family team enjoyed this experience. Our chef, Simone was kind and fun. The kids really liked him and learning how to roll the dough and pick their toppings was fun. The restaurant is very clean and the staff very nice. Highly recommend for families even with little little ones.

OMJ - Just returned from an 11 day trip to Italy. We finished with this tour so that my 9 year old grandkids had "fun" things to do (vs. constant museums, etc. - for which they were real troopers). So, it was me (gamma), the twins, my sister and nephew. I can't even begin to tell you how much fun this was.
Our chef was wonderful. He was so great with the kids (and adults). He really wanted you to know what you were doing and and go home with a new skill.
You actually make the pizza dough, then go into the kitchen and stretch the dough, select your toppings and then go out to a table where they serve you your creation. They treated you with prosecco (OJ for the kids), beverages and bruschetta if you wanted (we were too stuffed from our creations). I thought the description said dessert but maybe they substituted the bruschetta for it. It didn't matter. It was PERFECT, fun and a GREAT way to bid farewell to Italy!!!!!
Only regret is not having internet to scan the code that would give us the recipe for what we just made.

Our pizza making class did not start out well. We arrived late for the class, in part because a tour salesperson said an exact address had been provided when it was not. We arrived after the class had begun and were told it was too late for us to participate. The actual tour operator Julia appeared out of nowhere and saved the day. She offered a later class at another restaurant where we made tiramisu and pizza. A really great time was had by all, including my 7 year old daughter. Thanks to Julia and Chef Anna we really enjoyed making and eating pizza and dessert. Absolutely recommend that you register for this class/tour but only if you are sure that you are dealing with the actual tour operator.

This is really worth it. Luca hosted our session and he was amazing, he didn’t just let us make pizzas, he taught us how, so we can do it at home! The dough we made requires 8 hours to rise, so our dough instead is used to feed homeless people, and we are given fresh dough that’s risen. It was English speaking, but all the people there were from all over. We were English, but there were Australian, American, Brazilian and French, so we had an amazing time discussing cultures and our plans for our trip. Wonderful.

Very knowledgeable and fun teacher. It was a great activity for my kids and the adults learned a lot as well!

My 9 year old son and I took this class and had such a great time! Chef Hassan was a great teacher and wonderful with my son. The experience is definitely not just for kids! There were mostly adults in the class and it was a great time for everyone. We made and ate our delicious pizzas, drank wine and limoncello, and had a lovely time with everyone there. Highly recommend!

The place and class itself, including the chef/teacher, was pretty good. I am giving it 2 stars because the place did not have working a/c and it was so hot it felt like we were in an oven. It was a very very very unpleasant experience. For the price of the class, we literally made a quick pizza and then ate it in the extreme heat - did not seem very worth it. If the place can manage to have better ventilation or a/c, it would really improve the experience. Another idea is to let customers know in advance so they expect the heat. We were expecting a/c (like other cooking classes we have done and some other participants shared same - that they were expected a/c). Our family had just showered to have a nice family meal and we were surprised with a totally non-pleasant situation. We had to rush our meal as we could not wait to go outside and get some air. We were drenched in sweat from head to toe and feeling faint from the heat. We expect heat given the temperatures in summer in Italy - especially for outdoor tours- but this one was inside and for a meal so we had very different expectations.

Our entire family enjoyed this experience, including our 7 year old. Fun experience and delicious pizza!

The cook was wonderful with our 7 year old son who needed some more support, and he knew to have our 5 year old just play in some dough and feel like he was part of the process. The pizza was delicious, and the meal came with surprise bruschetta, limoncello, and wine. However, the room where we cooked was VERY hot and a tight space, and they took an extremely long time serving us the drinks/dessert (I think probably the waiter just forgot about us maybe).

You lost my order. We got no pizza class with kids. Glad we got money back. But kids where really looking ford this

We all love this experience. Definitely a nice touch to our vacation time! We will definitely recommend to anyone who is visiting Rome.

After a misunderstanding (on Viator.com part NOT walk and eat Italy or Rome Kids) we had the best time ever. Our chef was so amazing and great with kids. We all learned so much and highly recommend this class!!

Great fun, great coaching and great pizza. My 7 year old loved it! It was also nice to meet some lovely people while eating our pizzas at the end

Our family of five (two adults, a 15 year old and 10 year old twins) LOVED this activity when we visited Rome in February. All the staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, funny and taught us all how to make the most delicious pizzas! Would definitely recommend.

The organizer changer the pizza location and never informed us. We got to the scheduled place and they told us they have not done the class for a month now. 15 min later we got a text informing us of the new location. The chef was good but we ended up having only 15 min of the class. It was not really worth it.

We had a great time and learned a lot. We laughed a lot with the instructor and the other participants. The pizza was delicious too! Our only complaint would be that we received an e-mail while we were on vacation telling us our time was moved from 11:30 to 12:15 which meant some people from our group were no longer able to join in because they had tours planned. We actually didn’t even start until nearly 1pm.

Excellent value and a great experience. My daughter loved it and the pizza chef makes it hugely enjoyable and has a real passion about pizza making. Good value as were given free beer and prosecco throughout the whole experience.

This was a fantastic experience and the highlight of the trip to my Rome for my son.
Everyone at the restaurant was friendly and welcoming. My son is eight years old and the chefs were fab showing him how to make the pizza and making it a great memory!

Our grandson gave this rating. He had a great time and created an excellent pizza...we all did. The staff were very friendly - not just the guys doing the teaching - all the staff made a point to engage him through the evening. Thoroughly enjoyable, well worth an evening.

Again, my 11 year old grandson and I enjoyed this very much.

We were 4 of us, me 63 my two daughters and my granddaughter. We felt very welcome at the restaurant and enjoyed the whole process. My granddaughter enjoyed is so much and the first thing she did when she came home was to make a pizza like she learned in Rome. We strongly recommend this experience if you are on a family tour in Rome.

The typical Rome sightseeing is great for me but not ideal for my 5-year-old daughter. I wanted to find something she could enjoy so I booked this pizza-making class. We had a blast! Everyone was so nice and I came away with a dough recipe to use at home. This is fun for any age but a must for kids!
Kevin G, Aug 2016
My son really enjoyed this class as did my wife and I. The team at the restaurant are very friendly and helpful and the pizza was lovely!

Nette Atmosphäre, besonders Chef Hassan. Kinderfreundliche Erfahrung.
Leckeres Essen, Sauberkeit, zentrale Lage.
