On our recent family trip to Rome over the holidays, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch with Romina in her beautiful and cozy kitchen workshop. It was a perfect break between our morning and afternoon tours at the Vatican, and it was just a short walk to get there. She was a fun and gracious host and educator. Our kids unanimously said it was their favorite meal in Rome. They have already planned a pasta-making party with their friends at home to pass along their newly-learned skills!

This was by far the best tour we did in Italy. It’s walking distance from the Vatican we learned how to make ravioli and fettuccini. We were given snacks and wine and were able to eat the pasta we made. And it was delicious!!

We had a great time. Our party was 2 couples and there were 2 other really fun couples at the class. Romina created a fun atmosphere. I was inspired to start making pasta when I get home. I would recommend this to anyone for a fun evening!

    Great experience, delicious food

Romina is the perfect chef with a beautiful kitchen. She was such a gracious host, patient with our pasta making and made the entire experience soo enjoyable. I cannot say enough good things about her except if you're in Rome, YOU MUST TAKE THIS CLASS!! 100% worth every penny.

    Take this Class!

The one thing I had to do when in Italy was choose a cooking class for my husband and myself to take. I couldn’t be happier with this class! We had a such a fun, memorable experience and really made our trip to Rome complete!

Nice host/great location, although, expensive & not hands-on enough

Unfortunately, the class was just average for the price point. I've taken several cooking classes around the world and this one wasn't hands out enough in my opinion. I would say ~25 minutes out of the 3 hours was spent hands on while the majority was listening/learning or watching the host do the cooking. I would more call this an Intro to Pasta Making class. I was under the impression, we would be making everything on the menu, however, you really only make the dough and roll out the pasta then she cooks it. The sauce was also made by the host and I wish it was a class where we did each step including making the pasta and the sauce as well. The kitchen is very spacious, great host and great location, however, just would change those aspects. We received a recipe booklet at the end, however, it didn't even have both of the pasta dishes we made, it only had one so that wasn't very helpful. Instead of the approach of "watch me do it, now you try", I think it would be better to do the steps simultaneously together.

Great Experience - Best One in Rome

Romina was a fantastic host, sharing her cooking experience handed down from previous generations. Small group. Great location. Wonderful environment. When you travel abroad, the goal is to find culturally immersive experiences. The time with Romina was our best experience (and best meal) in Rome. We could have stayed all day.
