Tour company hired for this excursion was AWFUL.

The tour company that was hired for our excursion was HORRIBLE. The tour guide was annoyed, didn't have ear pieces/electronics that enabled her to speak to us as we walked along (like all of the other tours we had while in Italy had), she kept telling us to hurry up, she was annoyed she had to shout, so she asked us to stand in front of her while she spoke, rather than looking around and admiring the area. When we went to enter the stadium, because we had 11 people and did not have ear pieces, one person was asked to stay behind or go and purchase their own ticket, even though we already purchased head of the line passes for our group of 11. She was bothered when we wanted to take group pictures, and in the end, we all felt like we didn't get the full knowledge of the trip, like we had on others.

What can I say? The sights are impressive and witness of a completely different time. So why do I give it two stars? It's for the full experience and like so many other sites in Rome it's being ruined by letting in too many people so you feel like fish in a barrel. Ofc this only applies to Colosseum.

The skip the line tickets worked great. We got in at our time slot and it went really smooth. The only disappointment was I should have booked an excursion with a guide and more access to the site. The regular ticket gives very little access to the Colosseum itself. I wanted so much more. Next time!

Book with a company that allows to correct mistaken date choice.

Had purchased tickets for collisium in Rome. By my mistake I chose the wrong date a week later than we wanted . I showed up that day a week early and found out I had wrong date and couldn't go in. Immediately contacted Viator to either allow me a new date within a few days as we had just a week, or to refund and cancel that date a week out. Viator would not change the date nor refund. We didn't get to see the collisium. Very disappointed.

Hello, As done with all clients we booked the tickets only after your confirmation with us via email on the noon of January 18, 2024; we sent you the tickets the same day. On January 19, you had requested to for a change of date. As per the no amendment and no refund policy imposed by the Colosseum, we are bound by it and are not able to make any changes once the tickets are booked and purchased. We had mentioned the same via email, suggesting that you pursue this with Viator Care. Though we sympathize with you, a little consideration on your end before confirming the dates with us would have helped. Equally, we encourage our clients to kindly read the terms of service before confirming tickets on any of our products on Viator. Disappointing service

The objects seen were significant and fascinating. Unfortunately, the information provided by the guide was fragmented and devoid of any context. Besides the guide confused the starting time of the excursion and we had to by tickets for the children to attend the Forum in addition to the hundreds we already paid for the private excursion. The service below the average.

‘Skip The Line’ was definitely worthwhile, straight past the queues at the allotted time and into the Colloseum. Maria from the tour company checked in via WhatsApp to make sure we’d got the tickets and location details ok which was a nice touch. Absolutely fascinating, incredible place to visit. Book for morning if possible so you’ve the rest of the day to explore Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum. So much to see here, could easily spend a whole day at these three locations on their own.

Although it was overwhelming to take everything in, I was in awe at all I saw. The colosseum was impressive. It was pretty crowded but well organized. It was nice not to have to wait in the extremely long lines because I booked ahead of time. We basically walked right thru with no wait.

Perfect way to visit the colosseum with the ‘beat the line’ tickets which saved us hours as the other line was huge and we heard took THREE hours to get in. Highly recommended buying this ticket if planning to visit the colosseum on your visit to Rome

SCAM! Eurolink world wide is a scam, look at the other reviews, they are accurate. They do not send accurate location or tickets just a loop of vouchers that dont work. Had to buy on-site through a different tour provider.

Worth It!

The ticket is straightforward with its directions for meetups and distribution. Also it lasts for 24 hours. We flew into the country mid morning and didn’t arrive at the colosseum until the afternoon for our specific colosseum appointment. The weather was really warm making us decide to visit the remainder (Palatine Hill & Roman Forum) the next morning since the ticket was still eligible. Was a great way to stretch the tour for ‘2’ days. The only recommendation I’d add is for the tour group to provide another attachment featuring the ‘popular/recommended spots to visit throughout the hill/forum. Cesar’s tomb, the Palatine overlook etc.

Official Scam - Rip off Main touristic place

This is actually a touristic Rip off. The cut the line ticket does not exist, you go inside like everyone. Its just a scam to sell more expensive tickets. The whole Coloseum-Paladium-Foro combo is not impressive that much. Its like the obligatory visit when in Rome but don't get your expectation high. Its a full official scam. Rome has so much more to offer and seing all these places from outside is the same.

After initial problems a great trip!

Was a bit stressful getting in. After downloading the tickets on my phone prior to travel I was told I could use these to get in. However when we got there the tickets had disappeared off my phone (no idea how). No help at the actual venue so had to phone for assistance. This took around an extra half hour but they were very helpful and immediately emailed the tickets so we could go in slightly later than planned. Bit more expensive than what toy would pay when you got there but it beats the long queues in the heat so worth it for that.
