We understand that it can sometimes be a bit harder to hear when seated in the back of the cart, especially while the vehicle is moving through the city. For this reason, we have recently introduced audio headsets, so all guests can clearly hear the guide during the tour.

The golf cart tour is a wonderful way to get to see the city when you first get there to get at least an idea of what else you really want to do/see. Christina and Ashwin (who was in training) were wonderful tour guides. Friendly, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend everyone going to Rome for the first time doing this tour - especially with Christina and Ashwin. Very fun learning experience.

Our guide Milo was terrific, and kept up a non-stop stream of information about Rome and its history. The cart was a great way to get around and cover a lot of distance, as well as see both major landmarks as well as points of interest which would be easy to miss, without someone local to explain them

Federico was amazing. He knew his history and was very approachable. We loved every minute of our time with him and Sophia. The only thing we wished was improved was the number of sites. Most of the sites visited were the major sites we hade already walked to. In totally the tour was only about an hour and fifteen. Two hours would have been perfect.

Nice tour guide, but did not visit all sites on itinerary. Told us he couldn’t turn around to speak due to broken ribs!? (Was he fit to run the tour?). We seemed to spend a lot of time in the buggy, and not so much at the sights (which were not as advertised). It’s like the guy took his own route as opposed to what was advertised.

Hands down the best way to experience Rome. We did this tour on our first day here, and our guide Federico was amazing. Not only did he give us top tier historical knowledge on what the sites were, he also gave us amazing food recommendations to avoid the tourist trap areas. He was very personable and even took pictures of us! After the tour we felt pretty confident on navigating and exploring on our own. We highly recommend when you book this tour to ask for him, you will not regret it!

First, the driver was very good and informative. We had been promised a private ride for family (5 members). Two older people suddenly appeared. My granddaughter was sitting and they told her to move. They wanted her seat. No system to hear driver so much info was wasted in traffic. A disappointment.

We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed. Please note that this is a shared small-group tour (up to 7 guests per cart), as clearly stated in the description. It’s possible that an external agent presented it differently, but we never advertise it as private.
Regarding the audio system, it’s always available on our tours, though many guests prefer not to use it for comfort reasons.

This tour was the best one of our 3 county trip. Federico was outstanding in his knowledge, his English language, his humor, love for the country and wanting us to be a part! His encouragement to try local foods was so appreciated- (in fact we ate Street food called trapizzinis, which are small pockets of bread filled with chicken or meatballs). We wish that everyone in our group could have been a part of this excursion!!

This was by far our best experience in Rome. Federico, our drive/tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared so many interesting things throughout the tour. We learned so much history and special tidbits about each destination. We also enjoyed the personal stories he shared with us! He was so polite and witty. This was the best way to see the city and cover so much in a short time. We would definitely do it again. We highly recommend this experience.

My husband and I opted to do this tour as a way of seeing more sites in a shorter period of time to help us identify areas we’d like to explore further. Our guide, Frederico was exceptional and exceeded all of our expectations. His passion and positive attitude were infectious. He was flexible, responsive, and a very accommodating. His knowledge of the area was impressive. The tour felt very welcoming and warm. My only complaint was that we could’ve spent another three hours in his company. For the price and the experience, I would not look elsewhere for a tour around Rome.
