Alethea was great, we really enjoyed her humorous spin on everything and her energetic personality. A little bummed she wasn't able to join us in the actual crypts but I felt like she adequately prepared us for the experience. It was also a great way to get a hang out navigating Rome.

This tour was great for lovers of the spooky and macabre side of things! The Capuchin Crypts were wild and unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Our guide (a lovely Canadian woman) was kind, professional, and so knowledgeable. After the Capuchin museum and crypts we strolled about hitting some not so known spots and learned about some dark historical moments that was very interesting!

First, I’m a solo traveler, and also the only one on this particular tour. I so appreciate that the tour went forward and my guide, Ariel, gave me the best attention, filled with facts as well as her own valuable personal insights. The displays were moving and so otherworldly. I also got to see a lot of other sites in Rome, much to my surprise; who knew they were linked with other dark secrets of this ancient capital? The evening was exhilarating, informative, and very different from any other tour of Rome. A must see.

Unfortunately, we were unable to make the tour due to transportation issues with Uber and taxis in Rome. The group did try to contact us but because of Internet access unable to receive messages. I was able to respond back to their email and they responded quickly. I gave the tour five stars because of them.
Suggestion for anyone going on this give yourself plenty of time to get to the location. Otherwise you’re going to miss the tour and be out $50!

Learning the history of Capuchin’s was interesting. Not what I expected when seeing the word catacombs in the description of the tour. The history of the other events could have been more descriptive.

I am sorry you did not enjoy the tour as much as we expected. However, nowhere in the description do we mention the catacombs as we do not want to mislead anybody - the catacombs are a different site in Rome and our description was very carefully written to avoid any mention.

Ivana was an absolutely amazing guide!! We ended up with a private tour as the weather kept the other attendees away, and she was so kind with her time and knowledge my 10 year old bent her ear for the better part of the tour!! She brought us for the best gelato we had during our two weeks touring around Italy and my son was entertained and continues to tell the stories Ivana shared with us. We define recommend this tour, and we wholeheartedly recommend spending it with Ivana!! 😊
