Minimal tour time, if you are a Christian or a history buff this won’t be very satisfying

Viator does an amazing job on the packages they put together, I’ve used 4 so far before this one and they have each been amazing. The catacombs of San Callisto is probably my actual fruatration, I think and not the services provided. A driver picked us up at our hotel and shuttled us to the catacombs, and waited for us to return. The vehicle he picked us up in was beautifully maintained and he was very kind. I am a Christian history buff and other folks may have a different desire from this tour. My experience was that the tour left me wanting. I think the entire thing was 25 minutes from beginning to end, and my history itch was barely scratched. Our tour guide seemed knowledgeable enough, but I could hear the groups coming up behind ours, and the groups ahead of us, and so I’m sure the tour was a highly time managed activity. That said, 25 or so minutes to speak about something so reverent and such a part of Christian history didn’t do it for me. I wouldn’t recommend this tour, though Viator’s service was (as always in my experience) impeccable.

The most horrible experience withe tour guide ever, and their do not explain from the beginning the Calixto catacombs was closed and they charge and send us to the st. Catalina

I had visited Rome’s catacombs before they removed the bones—much more interesting then. It’s not a three-hour tour, more like 45 minutes. It’s probably more interesting if you’re religious.
