Enjoyed all the stops - learnt a lot about each location - history - a lot about Portland and Pacific north west. Our guide Dominique was magnificent and very knowledgeable- friendly - and gave us ample time to enjoy the sights
The air conditioned van was comfortable and she also gave us plenty of water to stay hydrated. Really appreciated her doing that since it was very hot. She is an amazing tour guide and we were lucky to have her on this tour, I highly recommend the tour to others

The sites are beautiful. Nico our guide was absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable of the area. The breathtaking waterfalls to climbing part of Mt. Hood couldn’t have asked for a better adventure!
Sara_J, Oct 2025
Absolutely brilliant tour, only 5 of us on the tour as the firm ran 2 buses rather than squash too many people in the transport.
Long enough at every stop. The driver was informative and amusing.

It was very nice. I have to do all the driving g when my son and I are here so it was very nice that I did not have to drive. David was very knowledgeable on Portland.
Kathy_L, Aug 2025
Dave was a great tour guide. Always there to provide whatever was needed, take pictures, help in and out of vehicle, point out sites and good restaurants. He was funny and very knowledgeable.
Lenka_H, Aug 2025
You can see a lot of places in one day. That would be hard to do on my own, especially to book parking spots at the multiple waterfalls.
Miannaya_E, Aug 2025
Nico was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and made the trip very interesting. He was an excellent guide.
David_M, Aug 2025
Great day trip from Portland, waterfalls, Columbia River gorge, even the timberline Lodge in the drizzle was nice. Joe our tour guide was amazing, personable and knowledgeable
Ellen_R, Aug 2025
Saw Columbia River gorge and several different falls.
Stopped by a fruit farm and shop. Also stopped at Mt Hood and the ski lodge.
Fred_B, Aug 2025
The starting location in downtown Portland was terrible. It was extremely difficult and time consuming to get to and away from after the tour. It would be far more logical to have a meeting place on the east side of Portland since that is the direction the tour goes.
The tour itself and the tour director/driver were great, but that starting location is one that we will look at closely before we take any further Viator tours. If the tour was of downtown Portland then that may be an appropriate starting point.
Catherine_G, Aug 2025
Andy did an amazing job at guiding our tour and providing so many good recommendations for around the area!
Arsineh_O, Aug 2025
This was our first tour in Portland and we were so impressed. Our guide was Chuck and I can’t say enough about him. If you get Chuck as your guide , it’s like winning a lottery.
