First of all, do not eat breakfast before this tour because the portions at each stop are very generous.
Next, you’ll want to finish each dish, because the offerings are so delicious.
Last, and, most importantly, Ken is a knowledgeable, personable, and fun tour guide.

The food was really fabulous. Rich in flavor and various layers such as delicious textures, savory dishes, savory/sweet cheeses, and a sweet stop at the end. Every stop was a different type of food. Fun and tasteful! We loved Ken, our warm and welcoming host. He is passionate about all that Portland has to offer, he is great with conversation, and helpful with sightseeing suggestions. We enjoyed having Ken as our tour guide!

A few years ago, I was in portland with my family and we had booked this tour. Unfortunately, I was ill the day of this tour and had to head back to my hotel after the first stop. Fast forward a couple years and I'm back in portland solo and I knew I had to book this tour and exorcise some food demons. Glad I did, this was a fantastic tour with great stops. Ive been on many a food tour and I always love when I am taken to places that I wouldn't have ventured into on my own. My favorite stop was Khao Moo Dang with its delicious Thai noodles and broth. Another win for secret food tours, we've used them in Charleston, Sc as well. I can't wait for our upcoming food tour with them in Milwaukee next month, as well as another one in Dublin in December.

We loved all of the food on the trip and getting recommendations on where to go while we were in Portland. It was also fun getting to know the history behind Portland as well. Additionally our tour guide Rebecca was amazing! Very knowledgeable, and personable. She connected well with everyone on the tour and she gave my husband and I a special moment at the desert stop. She asked the restaurant to put a candle in our pie and then got the tour group sing Happy Babymoon (to the tune of Happy Birthday). It was a very special surprise and a great way to kick off our trip. Thanks for making us feel loved and filling our bellies.

You get a lot of good food to eat and you don’t need lunch afterwards. You also get a good orientation of the Pear District, which has lots of interesting stores, cafes etc. you finish not for from app wells books which is a good place to go afterwards.

Pace yourself there is plenty of food! The guide gives history about Portland as well as the food. Definitely will walk but time to enjoy the food and company. Even our picky eater enjoyed this!

5 dishes, not 6. One dish was amazing, the other were more average. Not sure what the “secret dish” was. I do a lot of food tours when I travel so maybe I have higher expectations. All in all, was average and a bit overpriced for what you got.

I am a slow walker. Guide's pace was too fast for me. At the little stops I was able to catch up because she was telling everyone else about the area. Once I arrived it was time to move on. I am allergic to onions. It was a challenge to find food I could eat.

It’s a relatively easy walk. (About 1.5 miles we were told.). The food samples were good. But they were served close together. I believe that we as a group got plenty to east. Our host did a good job. We walked upon a woman that had fallen and struck her head on the sidewalk. We took the time to check on her, call 911 and stick around until EMTs arrived.

This tour helped me get an idea of what is available food wise in downtown Portland. The guide provided just enough history and also pointed out additional food spots, two of which I tried out on my own later. All the dishes on the tour were great. Overall, wonderful way to get better acquainted with the local food scene with a friendly group.
