We’re locals living in the burbs of Portland but we don’t get downtown often. This was a fun day out and a chance to try some of the great foodie offerings Portland is known for. Ken did a great job giving us some local history and walking us around town. Good mix of food carts, Italian, Asian, a brewery, and a quirky dessert option. Interesting to see your own town in the eyes of a tourist.

This was a great food tour. Learned about Portland and sampled delicious foods. The tonkatsu sando at the start of the tour and the smores at the end were the highlights. Definitely recommend.

Omg sooooo much food! I didn’t need breakfast before going nor did I eat after the tour either! I was stuffed and the food was DELICIOUS!!! Our guide was AMAZING! Very knowledgeable and fun at the same time!

Wear comfortable walking shoes. Dress accordingly in layers. Bring a bottle of water. Arrive hungry because you will definitely be full by the end of the tour. Our group ended up only being the 3 of us in our family, but our guide, Isabel made the experience such a great one. From the food we ate, to the knowledge about the city that was shared, Isabel made our first visit to Portland an amazing memory.

First of all, do not eat breakfast before this tour because the portions at each stop are very generous.
Next, you’ll want to finish each dish, because the offerings are so delicious.
Last, and, most importantly, Ken is a knowledgeable, personable, and fun tour guide.

The food was really fabulous. Rich in flavor and various layers such as delicious textures, savory dishes, savory/sweet cheeses, and a sweet stop at the end. Every stop was a different type of food. Fun and tasteful! We loved Ken, our warm and welcoming host. He is passionate about all that Portland has to offer, he is great with conversation, and helpful with sightseeing suggestions. We enjoyed having Ken as our tour guide!

A few years ago, I was in portland with my family and we had booked this tour. Unfortunately, I was ill the day of this tour and had to head back to my hotel after the first stop. Fast forward a couple years and I'm back in portland solo and I knew I had to book this tour and exorcise some food demons. Glad I did, this was a fantastic tour with great stops. Ive been on many a food tour and I always love when I am taken to places that I wouldn't have ventured into on my own. My favorite stop was Khao Moo Dang with its delicious Thai noodles and broth. Another win for secret food tours, we've used them in Charleston, Sc as well. I can't wait for our upcoming food tour with them in Milwaukee next month, as well as another one in Dublin in December.

We loved all of the food on the trip and getting recommendations on where to go while we were in Portland. It was also fun getting to know the history behind Portland as well. Additionally our tour guide Rebecca was amazing! Very knowledgeable, and personable. She connected well with everyone on the tour and she gave my husband and I a special moment at the desert stop. She asked the restaurant to put a candle in our pie and then got the tour group sing Happy Babymoon (to the tune of Happy Birthday). It was a very special surprise and a great way to kick off our trip. Thanks for making us feel loved and filling our bellies.
