Adam and Nicole were a dynamic duo. Very knowledgeable about Nature and Plants. They didn’t stop there, we’ve got plenty of recommendations on where to Go for food. We would definitely recommend doing this tour.

I travelled solo with this small group and had an incredible time exploring the Columbia Gorge and Mount Hood.
The guide was just top rate, so informative and humorous too. That local knowledge to find exactly the right viewpoints and explain the significance brought the trip to life.
Not just the major and famous spots but the ones only the locals know.
If you’re visiting Portland put this trip on the top of your bucket list.

The tour covers many fantastic waterfalls before ending at Timberline lodge on Mt Hood. The view of Mt Hood from the lodge is spectacular.

It's a full day of sightseeing. We were picked up from our hotel in downtown Portland which was very convenient. Our tour guide was Jim and he really made the day enjoyable with his commentary and hospitality. We were able to see a lot of sites that we would not have reached on our own. He even stopped at a cafe that was featured in the Twilight movie for a fan that was in our group.

Very fun tour. Had Adam as our guide, who was very friendly and professional. He arrived during the quoted window (8:45am) at the hotel. Got to see lots of sights, including Vista House, Latourell Falls, Multnomah Falls, Shepperd's Dell Falls, and Starvation Creek Falls. We then continued into Hood River for an hour long lunch stop - Adam provided a great recommendation (Full Sail Brewing Co.). Then continued to Draper Girls Fruit Stand & the Timberline Lodge at Mount Hood. Overall a great day.

Our guide Adam is amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable in all subject matters and he goes above and beyond to show us all the hidden gems around Mt. Hood. It was a very enjoyable experience for us.

Lovely little villages everywhere. Breath-taking waterfalls. Amazing to be on an active volcano. Smallest post office in the U.S. Excellent tuna melt for lunch per Jim's recommendation. He was the GOAT tour guide. 10/10. Highly highly recommend.

I learned so much about the history while also experiencing the beauty! The tour guide was awesome and knew all the picture spots and was willing to take pictures. Very engaging tour!

Absolutely amazing! Highly recommend. Jim was an absolute Gem, not a single stale note. Definitely must see

I was not familiar with the Columbia River Gorge until I booked this experience. Our guide Jim was simply the best and made this one of my all-time favorite experiences. He was knowledgeable, considerate, and highly entertaining. The waterfalls and overall scenery were stunning. His in-depth knowledge of the region contributed immensely to the experience but he went beyond the experience itself, making excellent recommendations on restaurants and areas of the city to visit. I sincerely give this experience my highest recommendation.

Adam was our driver and guide and gave us an outstanding introduction to some of Oregon’s most iconic destinations. Adam has a wide breadth of knowledge about the area and brings his enthusiasm and passion for his home state in the details of his narrations. You won’t be disappointed!
This trip highlights the early history, geography, and beauty of the Columbia River Gorge, the construction and formation of the scenic highway, the various waterfalls in the vicinity, the Vista House, the renowned Multnomah Falls, the quaint town of Hood River, the historic Timberline Lodge, and snow-capped Mt. Hood.

Rylie was an excellent tour guide and did a great job feeding us valuable information and getting us to beautiful waterfalls. This is a tour you must experience when visiting Portland. Hotel pickup and drop off was timely and smooth.

Adam communicated all tour logistics well, was so personable, thoughtful, and helpful, and his love and knowledge of Oregon and our tour stops was really impressive. I highly recommend this tour!
Katja_H, Mar 2026
Rylie and Colton were simply the best. Incredibly knowledgeable about the area and filled with stories and tidbits.
I have arthritis and somedays I am very slow getting in and out of vans. They were both perfect gentlemen and are a credit to their company and moms

We were able to experience a variety of conditions in Portland during our trip. Jim, our guide, was able to show us three waterfalls, a beautiful view of Mts. Hood and Adams. We finished up on the slopes of Mount Hood experiencing snowfall. Jim was very friendly, informative and entertaining. He had great suggestions regarding restaurants and things to do in the Portland area.

Rylie was phenomenal! He did such an amazing job showing us all of the Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood, while also sharing facts and info about Portland! I truly feel like I’m leaving the area, knowing something. As one in agriculture I truly appreciated learning about nature in the area, as well as truly feeling immersed in the experience in a way that totally didn’t make you feel like a tourist. I was a little anxious to travel in the van full of other people, but it was really awesome and he did a great job making sure it was a fun environment. Great day! I recommend this tour or Riley enough.

We had an amazing experience with Adam. He is kind , attentive, and a great storyteller. We couldn’t make it all the way up to Mt. Hood due to the weather but Adam added some fun stops for us including shopping at Goodwill Boutique, visiting Draper Girls farm, meeting Herman the Sturgeon, and it truly felt personalized and like traveling with family. It was so much fun. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing day with Jim. He’s such a friendly man and incredibly knowledgeable. We were treated as true VIPs. Our trip through all of the best waterfalls, Hood river, and Timberline lodge was really unforgettable. I don’t speak like this normally lol we were just truly blown away by this tour. We can hardly wait to return to Portland in the summer and take the coast tour with Jim!

Jim was a fantastic guide - friendly and informative. He provided great information about the sights we visited as well as Portland and Oregon in general. The tour is great for people with all fitness levels.
Phillip_A, Nov 2025
Jim was a wonderful guide! Such a great voice with lots of local stories and suggestions. Just a lot of fun to listen to and enjoy the waterfalls around town. Definitely would look to get him again!
Myre_S, Nov 2025
Cameron was great!
Unfortunately it was just me and my husband who booked the tour so we ended up having a private tour with Cameron which was wonderful. The wind was brutal at the Vista so we could not spend time there and the Vista itself was closed at the time we were there which was our first stop on a Sunday tour.
I can’t remember going to the Horsetail Falls but we had a nice picnic at the Starvation Creek.
Thanks Cameron for a wonderful accidental private tour!

Ok, when I first saw all 5 stars for this tour, I had my doubts. Not one complaint? Impossible, I thought to myself. I definitely had to test this out. To my suprise this was one of the best tours we have taken. Adam was an awesome tour guide with a wealth of knowledge. When you search Google for information about Portland and the surrounding area, Google asks Adam. He was so helpful, patient, curteous, and professional... absolutely the greatest. He gave us everything we wanted to know and more. I even loved his recommendation of salmon fish and chips at the Full Sail, which we never had before. It was delicious, especially after his recomended flight of great local beer. He was able to pack so much fun and excitement into one day. The waterfalls were even better than ones we saw on different islands of Hawaii. This was an adventure we'll cherish forever. We highly recommend this tour, especially with Adam.

We saw three waterfalls, had lunch in Hood River (super cute town), and then went up to Timberline Lodge which is on Mount Hood. We got plenty of time to explore at each stop. Would absolutely recommend. Thank you Riley!
