We have lived in this...
We have lived in this area for 20+ years and decided it was time to learn more about the Willamette Valley wines. We could not have asked for a better experience. Eric was knowledgeable, professional and took us to 3 wonderful places. I highly recommend this tour.

The Absolute best way to see The Columbia River and Mt Hood
I’ve taken many trips through Viator but this was my absolute favorite. It could have been Phil, our driver, who was knowledgeable, kind, and so helpful. He took pictures for us at every stop and gave wonderful commentary as the trip went on. We had just the right amount of stops, saw more than we thought was included, and met new friends. The coach was Comfortable, clean and Phil brought water and snacks and passed them out freely. The sights we saw were as described on the itinerary but better than we could imagine. We highly recommend this tour

Waterfalls, Wine, Cherries & the Best Tour Guide Ever!
We had an awesome tour with Luke! We were celebrating a friend’s 40th birthday and were a group of seven ladies. Luke was such a gentleman, always helping us get in and out of the van and taking pictures. He also provided an amazing history and narrative of all the waterfalls we visited. He was attentive throughout the entire tour, and since he knew we loved berries, he even let us pick a few. When we got to the winery, he knew some of the orchards closed early, so he went and picked some Rainier and Bing cherries and brought them back for us. I mean, if that isn’t going above and beyond, I don’t know what is! He was kind, great listener, let us indulge in our music choices, and was simply a joy to be around. We all flew in from different places, and Luke was truly the highlight of the entire trip. Thank you so much, Luke, for being absolutely outstanding!

Wonderful Guide to Fantastic Wineries
Jay picked us up from our hotel and from the start was the nicest tour guide I’ve met. He gave us so much information about the area. We visited 3 wineries and spent a least an hour and 1/2 at each. Each location had delicious wines that couldn’t be trumped by the views. Sorry wineries but Mt Hood was just gorgeous. It was a beautiful day! Wine tastings are not included but we opted to just buy a bottle at two of the vineyards. Perfect day, would highly recommend.

For the price of a few bottles, Portland wine-tasting tours whisk you away from the city into the Willamette Valley, the world-renowned wine region especially notable for its pinot noirs. You can explore a few of the more than 700 wineries that call the valley home, often with tasting fees and lunch included. Comparing the offerings from a few different vineyards is also a great way to familiarize yourself with the area’s terroir—wine-speak for the unique soil and climatic conditions that allow a region to produce specific flavors.
