Emily really brought the haunted truth back to the future through her research and obviously love for the incredible complicated but rich history of Philadelphia and our countries founding fathers and mothers. She gave me goosebumps SEVERAL times and I could see other's in the tour as well. 5 🌟 Emily

Emily gave us a great history lesson! It was geared towards being kid friendly so no gruesome history we’ve had on other ghost tours. It was the perfect amount of ghosts and history for kids!

Great tour! Nice mix of history and the supernatural. Enjoyable storytelling for adults and youth. Walking is light enough to be accessible for most, and extensive enough for solid sightseeing.

We had the best night with our guide, Claire! She was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Ghosts of Philadelphia tour. Her storytelling brought the city’s history to life, and she kept us engaged from start to finish. Claire struck the perfect balance between historical facts and spooky tales, making the experience both educational and entertaining.
Our 11-year-old son, who is a huge history buff, absolutely loved it too. Claire was the best guide! She gave a lot of extra stories, several great recommendations for our last day in Philly, and was overall a great human. Not really a ghost tour more just a couple of stories with history mixed in disappointing it was nice seeing old city at night, but not worth the money, not enough information and certainly no chills.

I’m now convinced that the way to get a great “historic” tour and keep it entertaining as well is to do a ghost tour. Or maybe it’s just that our guide Nate was so fantastic. We got entertaining stories, learned all sorts of historic facts, heard thoughtful, contemplative spooky tales and got a beautiful night time walk through the streets of Philly in 90 mins. Great deal and good fun.

I was never able to go on this tour because they called me and told me they were booting me off of the tour I had booked since I was a solo traveler. They wanted to put me an hour later, which I could not do, and so I asked for a refund. They said they would process it, but then later left a message saying they could not process it. Then I received this message asking for my feedback. Well, here it is. There’s no good reason to boot someone from a tour just because they are a solo traveler. And I had better get my money back.

Claire gave a great mix of historic context mixed with fun ghost stories. Kept the group of 23 people all together and engaged. My 12 year old and my sister and I had a blast and a new found appreciation for the curse of yellow fever back a few centuries ago!

It was a great experience. I like the history and the mystery so with this tour I enjoyed a lot of both.The walk was good, all the place are close. I recommend this great tour.
We went on a ghost tour last night with Claire, and it was such a memorable experience! Our group of four joined with another group of young adults, and Claire kept everyone engaged the whole time.
She is a wonderful storyteller. Her use of vocal variety really pulled us in—sometimes lowering her voice so you leaned in closer, other times raising it just enough to cut through the sounds of fireworks and emergency vehicles that happened to pass by during our tour. No matter the distractions, we could always hear her clearly.
Claire shared plenty of history along with the ghostly tales, which made the experience even richer. She also introduced us to a ghost app, which added a fun interactive twist. What we appreciated most was that she wasn’t over-the-top or cheesy; she kept the spooky theme alive while still grounding everything in the fascinating history of the city.
Overall, Claire made the tour both entertaining and educational, and I’d definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Philadelphia!
