It was great! Harris was very imformative and entertaining and he knew so much about the history and sites of Philidelphia. I was very impressed and we saw so much of the City. I can't wait to return when the weather is warmer and and I'd ride this hop on hop off for days!

Our guide Tom was incredible. Took the trip with my husband, daughter, son in law and 6 grandchildren and everyone agreed this was the best part of our trip to Philly. Highly recommend this excursion.

Operating Schedule: Beginning at the Bourse Building right across from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, plug into our multi-lingual headphone audio to discover the origins of America, since Philadelphia is where America’s Founding Fathers first declared independence from England, and then ratified the US Constitution and Bill of Rights to start the new nation. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of such historic landmarks including the Christ Church Burial Grounds, Elfreth’s Alley, the Betsy Ross House, and Independence Hall, to name just a few.
As you head west, see the Friendship Gate in Chinatown, be amazed by the architecture of Philadelphia’s City Hall, and be sure to explore the various museums along Benjamin Franklin Parkway, including the Barnes Foundation – known as the world’s largest collection of post-impressionistic art in the world. As you continue your journey, marvel at Philadelphia’s growing skyline and get a bird’s-eye view from atop the One Liberty Observation Deck. Your loop finishes up after touring through the charming neighborhood of Society Hill and a drive along the banks of the Delaware River.

Waiting for the bus was very long. Over 25 minutes.
There is no place to sit or shade while waiting for the bus. Staff was very good and gave good commentary of the sites.

Unfortunately, we were not directed to a double decker bus. The experience was not fulfilling because the live commentator did not describe the cultural significance or provide an adequate background of each location on the tour map.

We had a fantastic experience. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and very entertaining. The bus makes well over 20 stops so you can get on and off but we just stayed on for the 90 minute tour. Would highly recommend!

Friendly helpful employees. Good way to see the city. Vaughn and Billy were excellent. We did get one narrator (can't remember his name) on his first day. He did good but was still learning.

I had been seeing the open air double decker buses in Philadelphia each time I visited my son and decided to give it a try when I was in town with two of my sisters. This was so worth it!! What a great way to see the history of Philadelphia and our tour guide was wonderful! Highly recommend.

The guide was great which is why I gave this two stars. The rest was not at all great.. We found it incredibly difficult to find the various stops on the route as they were not marked well at all. The map you provided was not detailed or accurate and as a result, we could not find any of the stops and never got to get back on the bus. Then unbeknownst to me I guess your service stops at 3:30. So after all that frustration, we couldn’t even take advantage of any of it. We spent a lot of money on this and we were not able to use it as advertised. I would not recommend this service to anybody else.

It's wonderful to hear about the sights of a city from locals who obviously love the place. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to the stories and side notes. Had the pleasure of experiencing two such guides- Nick and Tom. Both adept at regaling their audiences with the history behind the historic sites of old city and modern Philadelphia. Just be sure to let them know when you want to get off to explore a specific point of interest.

Don’t go on a rainy day. They had the smallest, leaky bus running. Miserable experience. They have such better and nicer buses. Weird. Had a 3 day pass. The guides were all great but some facts didn’t match. The personalities were all fun (I saw 5 guides) and learned a lot about Philadelphia.
