- The Pearl Harbor Visitor Center has a no bag policy. Any bags, packages, or containers that offer concealment (e.g., purses, handbags, backpacks, fanny packs, camera bags, diaper bags, luggage) that exceed the dimensions of 1.25" x 2.25" x 5.5" are not allowed. The Pacific Fleet Submarine Museum operates a baggage storage facility near the visitor center entrance, with a fee for all sizes, including luggage. This storage can be used for visits to all Pearl Harbor Historic Sites.
- Open 362 days a year, closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
- The Boat Ticket to the USS Arizona Memorial is NOT included with this Multimedia Tour. Reserve your Boat Ticket ahead of time at recreation.gov ($1 reservation fee per ticket) or join the free USS Arizona Memorial Standby Queue upon arrival at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.

A:The boat ride is NOT included. You may reserve Boat Tickets at www.recreation.gov. Boat tickets are released daily, one week in advance, and cost $1.00 per person.

I went online thinking that I paid for tickets to the memorial but paid for audio self-tour. So, I had to register stand-by to visit the memorial. We arrived around 9:30am. I was texted to get on line to visit the memorial by 9:45am. I believe going early makes a difference. We traveled by public bus 42.

Parking is absolutely terrible on Monday, probably other days as well. Many people, including us were not aware of the no package rule. where were the information signs? Did not receive details of various tours, for example tour bus/shuttle opportunities to get to see the Arizona. Web site is confusing. Not a good way to celebrate 21 years of marriage without a vacation. Hoping other arrangements go better.

You will have fun as Stella shows you around and introduces you to local site, tastes and culture! Super fun. I would have never eaten a poke bowl! But enjoyed every bit of the tour and tastings! Stella is informative and fun!

This self-guided audio tour was disappointing and not worth the comparatively reasonable cost. At each tour stop you needed to add the three digit number corresponding to it. At least a third of the stops we’d enter the numbers only to see that no audio was available. Extremely frustrating. What should have been an awe-filled couple of hours were marred by the experience.

Emotional, inspiring, educational. We liked the freedom of the self-guided tour. It gave us the chance to experience something together, but also individually as my children are grown adults. Half of the audio video tour did not work. Error message said the audio was not available. The audio that worked was ok. It was better than having no audio. The audio information given was insightful.

Very informative, plenty of venues to explore. Allow a big part of the day if you want to see the majority of it. But, you can take a self guided tour, like we did, in a couple of hours. A must see!

The visit to USS ArIzona was memorable, but I never really figured out how to use the "Chief's narrated tour" so I didn't get the benefit of what I paid for. Visiting the memorial was free except for the $1 each charge for the boat ride.

Knowing the number who died then seeing all the names puts it into more of a reality. What a great way to always remember all the lives lost that horrible day.
