We will contact you on the day before the tour to confirm pickup details. If you are on a ship, please contact us on the day before the tour for pickup details. No bags of any kind, brand, size, color, or for any reason are allowed to enter the Pearl Harbor visitor center. Please absolutely bring no bags with you. Bags may not be left inside our tour vehicle. If you have a bag, you will need to check them into the visitor center bag storage. This costs money, and you may have to wait in a long line to check in your bags. You may lose a portion of your tour, or your Arizona boat ticket may expire. Please do not bring any bag of any size, color, or brand with you for any purpose. (Clear see-through bags are permitted). We do not carry nor do we have space for luggage of any kind. It will not fit in the vehicle. We cannot meet guests at Pearl Harbor or any other location outside of the designated pickup areas. Tour and ticket times may change based on traffic, federal government regulations, or new Pearl Harbor restrictions. While tickets are included in all of our Pearl Harbor tours, there are a few times a year there are situations that arise when tickets are not available to us. In this case, we will use the standby procedure by NPS ( National Park Service ) will be used. The U.S. Navy has the right to cancel the Arizona Memorial shuttle boat at any time due to public safety. However, we have no control over the U.S. navy or other organizations in charge. Ford Island is part of the active military base, Joint Base Pearl Harbor – Hickam, and the U.S. Government has the right to restrict access to Ford Island without notice. This is beyond our control, and we follow the federal agency's rules. If your pickup location is the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, after Pearl Harbor, you will be returned directly to the airport, and the others will continue on to down town and Waikiki as airport is miles before these location

Last minute they moved our tour from 9:30 to 1 pm. That doesn’t work - we have other plans. They need to have backup vehicles. We just got to be the lucky ones that got moved - everyone else with us got to go

Your statement leaves out some key facts about how these situations are handled.
Tour times are always approximate and subject to change due to circumstances outside of our control, including vehicle availability issues, traffic conditions, and operational constraints. An unforeseen issue required adjustments to the schedule, and we accommodated as many guests as possible with the resources available at the time.
You were offered an alternative departure time so the tour could still be provided. We understand that this did not align with your personal schedule, but conflicts with other plans are not something we can manage or guarantee against, especially when timing is clearly stated as approximate and subject to change.
This was not a case of singling anyone out. It was simply an operational adjustment under real-world conditions. We would also like to add the fact that no one indicated that you were traveling with another party. This should have been indicated at the time of booking.

Roland our driver was very helpful and directed us to Peral Harbor and our tour. Driver guides you to start the tour with you but really is only there to provide transportation to and from and provides ticket to the Arizona Memorial.

Driver was over 1hr late pick up trying to contacted viator they sent ph number to tour guide myself plus hotel lobby kept calling we had no response . Driver arrived and on bus unable to hear him while in vehicle talking about locations etc

The reason for the delay in pickup was traffic. Traffic bad enough to set back pickups. Honolulu is famous for its traffic and this was the perfect illustration of that. Traffic is beyond our control, especially when it is caused by accidents.

The pearl harbor experience was good. Our guide was very knowledgeable and nice. The tour went longer than expected because of additional stops on the way home. This was not advertised. We left at 930 am and we were supposed to get back at 2. We got back after 3 pm. I think the additional stops should have been advertised so we could better plan our day.

Just enough time to get it all in. Our guide walked us in and handed out the Arizona tickets. Gave on over view and where to meet her in 3 hours and 45 min. Venessa was great!!!

Tour from mental hell. The Pearl Harbor was great. The actual bus tour.. awful.
First off he was 45 min late! So that took away from exploring Pearl Harbor. He only gave us 15 min extra time but wasted all of it by talking non stop when we got there. We literally had to sneak away to catch our appointment time for the memorial.
The bus tour was not good. We couldn’t even hear him rambling on and on about him self and god knows what else. We were bored out of our dang minds.

Vanessa was a great guide, very knowledgable and had some fun jokes. She really prepared us for what we were going to see at Pearl Harbor. The rest of the tour (Punchbowl Crater and downtown Honolulu) was also great and informative.

A clolse reading of the Viking Excursion to Pearl Harbor revealwed that it doi not include the shuttlke to the USS Arizona, so we booked this tour instead. The tour was perfect! The USS Arizona Memorial was somber.

Our tour guide David was friendly and helpful. He walked us through what to expect at Pearl Harbor and was very accurate. We got right in and saw the movie, two walk through museums and the Arizona memorial with ease. Good to have reservations to go on the Arizona.

Great experience to see the Arizona Memorial! I felt it was too much money for what we got at Pearl Harbour! Guess I thought there was more to see for that price! The driver David was great! 2 museums were informative. Speach by Park Ranger before boarding was heartwrenching. Speech bt volunteer on platform was good but spent a disproportionate amount of time on survivor burials.
Tour: Kawakami was awful. Couldn't hear him most of the time. Which turned out to be good. His most important topic was himself. Why he came toHI. The jobs he worked. Where he met his wife. Where he lives now. And even what he wished he did differently.
During the worthless tour of the vicinity, he made a turn, without checking traffic, into the wrong lane. Fortunately the oncoming truck was able to maneuver and break hard inorder to avoid hitting us. Afterward, Kawika joked that maybe he should drive more and talk less. But he just kept rattling on.
