Just being out on the water was amazing. The whales were being shy but Captain Chris was willing to keep going until we found them!

Crew was great for our whale watching tour even through the rainy weather! Saw whales, dolphins and a monk seal. Crew was knowledgeable and informative, would def do it again.

More of a ride in zodiac style boat than a true whale watching tour. They make you sit on the pontoon which is pretty uncomfortable. We did see a few whales and spinner dolphins. The mate was very nice and had some fun facts about the area. The captain was kinda rude. When we called saying we can’t find the boat launch he said “did you look at the directions we sent?” Didn’t seem to cater to the only 2 guests. Not worth the high price for a “private tour”. Not bad just not what we were expecting

Tube seating is common, generally safer, and more comfortable than rigid seats on zodiac boats, especially at higher speeds or in bumpy sea conditions. These boats are ideal for whale watching as their speed and range allow us to cover more ground searching for whales, while the small size and quiet motors do not disturb wildlife like larger boats. We saw several whales. We were able to get closer than any tour boat. We also were able to follow two of them at a safe distance for quite a while. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly.

My wife and I had a great private whale watching tour with Captain Chris. No sooner had we started our journey on his 30' Zodiac, then the largest pod (or should I say pods) of spinner dolphins greeted us. We were surrounded by more than 2 dozen spinners that swam with us and showed off every so often to ensure we got some great pics. We then encountered a few sea turtles that were nice enough to pose for some pics and then, after relentless searching for a whale sighting by Captain Chris (since this was the first outing of the season), he spotted not one but two (and possibly 3) humpbacks that spouted, jumped and waved their tales at us! A DEFINITE must do in Oahu and Captain Chris will guarantee a great time and some great sights!
