1- Make sure you are ready for pick up a few minutes earlier than your pick up time 2- Make sure you eat breakfast before you come for pickup 3- We do not allow any food or drink inside our vehicle 4- please understand that if you are late for your pickup, you miss your tour, and there is no re-scheduling. 5- Please ensure your cell phone is charged and on and with you; we can reach you if needed. We will contact you on the day before the tour to confirm pickup details. If you are on a ship, please contact us on the day before the tour for pickup details. No bags of any kind, brand, size, color, or for any reason are allowed to enter the Pearl Harbor visitor center. Please absolutely bring no bags with you. Bags may not be left inside our tour vehicle. If you have a bag, you will need to check them into the visitor center bag storage. This costs money, and you may have to wait in a long line to check in your bags. You may lose a portion of your tour, or your Arizona boat ticket may expire. Please do not bring any bag of any size, color, or brand with you for any purpose. (Clear see-through bags are permitted). We do not carry nor do we have space for luggage of any kind. It will not fit in the vehicle. Tour and ticket times may change based on traffic, federal government regulations, or new Pearl Harbor restrictions. While tickets are included in all of our Pearl Harbor tours, there are a few times a year there are situations that arise when tickets are not available to us. In this case, we will use the standby procedure by NPS ( National Park Service ) will be used. The U.S. Navy has the right to cancel the Arizona Memorial shuttle boat at any time due to public safety. However, we have no control over the U.S. navy or other organizations in charge. Ford Island is part of the active military base, Joint Base Pearl Harbor – Hickam, and the U.S. Government has the right to restrict access to Ford Island without notice. This is beyond our control, and we follow the federal agency's rules.

Pearl Harbor, Mighty Mo, and Island private tour

This was an awesome way to visit Pearl Harbor and see a lot of the island also. Our driver/guide Rich was great! He is an island local and really knows his stuff when it comes to the Hawaiian islands, particularly Oahu. Rich communicated well regarding picking us up, he was prompt, and super friendly. He provided a lot of local insights on the island and all the sites we visited. At Pearl Harbor he gave us great tips on how to find our way to the various attractions there (memorial, museums, gift shop, restrooms, movie), including the order to see each attraction, which lines to get in and when, where to sit in the meeting theater to enable us to board the boat that takes you to the memorial, and where to sit on the boat to get a good view of the memorial when you approach it. That advice could not have been better or more detailed. We followed it exactly and had an awesome experience! After leaving Pearl Harbor, Rich drove us over to see the USS Missouri (“the Mighty Mo”), he escorted us through their guided tour and followed that up with our own private one on one tour with him. He guided us through the ship and provided great info and history along the way. A few people that were not in our group started tailing us around the ship so they could listen to his insights as well. We all enjoyed some Dole whips as we left the Missouri and headed out on the island tour part of our day. We stopped by Punchbowl national cemetery, where numerous Pearl Harbor casualties and other military are interred. He pointed out one particular headstone and it happened to be a name I recognized, Ernie Pyle, which was startling to my whole group. I just happened to attend Ernie Pyle elementary school, so I knew about his work as a journalist during World War II. Small world moment. Our tour continued with a scenic drive around the island, through a beautiful valley to the other side of the island and around numerous towns on the north/east coast, including Kaneohe, before returning to our hotel. It was a great tour and Rich was awesome!
