awesome experience! We had a beautiful day. Saw turtles and small dolphins. Crew feed fish so we could see. Not so much seen in the “glass bottom” part but a lot of education as we went up and down the coast.

Not Glass

Arsen_G, Jul 2026
Do not go here. The bottom of the boat is NOT glass, very disappointing. Has 4 small holes in the boat that are glass and that’s it.

Response from Host, Jul 2026

Mahalo for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear your experience didn't meet your expectations. Our boats are designed with multiple underwater viewing panels rather than a fully transparent glass floor, allowing guests to safely view marine life while enjoying the ride. We understand this may have been different from what you were expecting, and we're sorry for any disappointment. We appreciate your feedback

Great guides and saw lots...

Great guides and saw lots of turtles and fish. The ocean was beautiful and the boat was clean and well kept.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely incredible experience for all ages!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely incredible experience for all ages! We booked this glass-bottom boat tour on a whim, and it ended up being the absolute highlight of our trip! The boat was pristine, and the viewing windows were crystal clear, giving us an unbelievable look at the reef and marine life below. We saw everything from sea turtles to colorful coral formations and schools of tropical fish. Our captain/guide, Austin and Sophia were fantastic—super knowledgeable, funny, and great at spotting things we would have completely missed. It was the perfect way to see the underwater world without getting wet, which was amazing for our family. Worth every penny. Don't hesitate to book this!

Tour was great. Saw fish, dolphins, and a couple turtles. Also enjoyed the history lesson that was given

Fun time with the family on a glass bottom boat

Lavaughn_W, Jun 2026
The crew was very knowledgeable and friendly. The resent weather made the water murky but we did see a monk seal and several see turtles and fish

Worth the money

Kimberly_C, Jun 2026
You’re not guaranteed to see any fish. They did throw some food out in the water and that brought some fish to the surface but other than that, we didn’t see anything. However, the boat ride was lovely, the crew were great and very informative.

Very fast tour. Didn’t...

Awesome!

Jerry_B, May 2026
A very wonderful experience.. we got to see dolphins various fish and even a whale and her calf. Enjoyed the captain’s sense of humor and knowledge of the things that we got to experience.

Very disappointed

Andrew_M, May 2026
Not a proper glass bottom boat just 4 viewing areas, Too many people on the boat. All the activities were on the right of the boat, as in turtles & feeding the fish, so if your on the left, you see nothing. Very disappointing & would definitely not recommend it.

Great tour!

Megan_A, May 2026
Austin was a great captain. He was funny and knowledgeable about the area and sea life. His expertise led us to see spinner dolphins and green sea turtles!

Good Vibes

Angela_Z, May 2026
If you’re doing this for the glass bottom boat aspect of it, you’re probably going to be like “meh”. However, if you’re doing this for the vibes, you will love it. Capt Brandon and Capt Jim were PHENOMENAL. They were both so welcoming, easy going, engaging, and informative. They did their best to give us a great experience; we saw 3 sea turtles and never would have had they not had a keen eye out for them. Gorgeous views. Laid back environment. Would absolutely do this again.

Family memories

Carrie_P, May 2026
We had a great time captain was very educational, and really made our trip enjoyable , we would absolutely do it again

High recommend to young kid family or old parent

Kibum_K, Apr 2026
Did not have high expectation but actually It was really good. Especially recommend infant or young kids to enjoy both inside and outside water with boat movement. My little son really enjoy that and we see even whale as well

Awesome subsurface tour!

Tammie_K, Apr 2026
Awesome locally owned business that shows you some amazing things below the surface of the ocean. Captain was super friendly and told us a lot of facts about the locations of the tour! Would highly recommend for a quick morning attraction!

The captain and guide...

Zoe_H, Apr 2026
The captain and guide were super friendly and knowledgeable! We saw lots of fish, sea turtles, and sting rays!

A great trip

Carol_S, Apr 2026
Great time on the water and some history as well of the area. Saw turtle , dolphins and some fish. Even better it is locally owned. We Love supporting local businesses.

Chill, fun vibes

Lynne_S, Apr 2026
Ian and Stone were the captains for our tour and they brought the vibes. They had seen some whales while out on the tour before ours and knew exactly where to get us to see them for ourselves. Did not disappoint! I think there were 4 whales and we saw them multiple times moving around. It was so fun, especially for our kids (11 & 12) to see them for the first time. Music was great, Ian and Stone were fun, plus it was just a chill ride and a laid back way to see the island. Definitely recommend this one. (Bring a couple drinks to enjoy since it’s BYOB)

We saw a whale and her calf!

Sonia_R, Mar 2026
Take a jacket and hat if at the end of March. This is a great opportunity to see turtles, fish, etc.

Not what we expected

Christine_B, Mar 2026
The boat is not truly what I expected or pictured. It has small sections that are glass but hard to see because it was crowded. I never saw any fish. However, we did see a pod of dolphins on the way back to the dock. So that was nice.

Wow!

Jaime_C, Mar 2026
Absolutely amazing! We saw many fish, sea turtles, a pod of spinner dolphins, Diamond Head, and the remains of a shipwreck! Even if we hadn't seen all that it would have been worth it! The crew were lovely, friendly and knowledgeable! Great!!

Sea Turtles, Rainbows, and Diamond Head

Tanisha_F, Mar 2026
First of all, there were multiple sea turtles sightings on my trip! They offer a friendly, informative environment that allows passengers to take in their beauty unrushed. This is a local family owned business, with a skilled and friendly crew. The vibe is laid back and connected to the island, instead of tourist-y You can't miss if you follow their recommendations for local restaurants and cultural activities either. I highly recommend this experience.

The Glass Bottom is only...

Tony_N, Mar 2026
The Glass Bottom is only to get people on the boat you can only see thru it while the boat is NOT moving The boat doesn't stop it go's from the port to near diamond head and back to the port the only things we saw was a sea turtle that came to the surface for air and a school of fish that came to the surface to eat the food someone thru in the water

Expected to see more fish...

Kimberly_M, Mar 2026
Expected to see more fish and through the glass bottom but none was seen. Driver was nice but was expecting something different from excursion. Just a nice boat ride.
