We both caught fish and we saw 4 sharks it was a great experience and we could bring our own alcohol to drink and snacks which was nice. Plus the bathroom on board was convenient to have since it was a 3 hour excursion.

Your bottom fishing tour begins when you meet your guide and boat at Kewalo Basin Harbor 20 minutes before the departure time. This shared excursion eliminates the need to charter your own boat and is ideal for friends and families.

The crew was great. Everyone (ages 10-71) had a great experience. Everyone caught at least one fish, several caught multiple fish. The crew explained the fish were and if edible, the fish could be taken home to eat. One hint: wear dark, old clothes since squid ink may end up on your clothes and it is really hard to get. We would highly recommend this tour.

The captain and first mate were great; however I do not think they were experts at locating fish. Two fish total with 15 people for three hours. We went to deep water when it was windy and then kept moving locations. I was very disappointed.

Good fishing experience, caught lots of Trigger fish of different species, I never knew there are so many variations. The crew were kind and patient. I could've fished another 3hrs.

This was a great experience. I did this with my 8 year old daughter and she loved it. Large boat with plenty of fishing gear on board. The deckhand was knowledgeable and did a fantastic job rejigging gear when losing hooks and/or sinkers (she is very fast and efficient). The captain drives the boat out to see in roughly 60ft deep water without anchoring. The only negatives I have is that they do not use a fish finder to locate fish increasing the chances of catching more and that not anchoring sometimes causes lines to run under the boat. We caught 2 small fish each. We had a fun day (3 hours). Would still recommend so get into it and enjoy catching some fish in paradise!

Booked a solo fishing trip. A lot of other people fishing. Enjoyed being on the water and being able to fish. Some people caught stuff, my pole was broken so it was hard to reel in any fish that were biting. JP, one of the crew members, was great. He helped me and checked in on me frequently. The girl was rude.

This was our second time going on this experience. We debated on deep sea fishing versus bottom boat fishing. After a deep dive it seems like this was the better option both times. Deep sea fishing doesn’t allow you to cast your own reel so often times you are sitting there until you get a bite if you ever do. Last year when we went fishing 2/4 people caught a fish. This year 4/5 people caught fish with many people catching multiple, total amount caught by our group was 9 fish! Good experience, bathrooms are onboard. You’re in direct sunlight to bring sunscreen, hats aren’t advised as it can be very windy. If you’re prone to sea sickness then I advise wearing the patches or taking Dramamine before you go.

From the beginning till the end the entire experience was awesome and worth it! We had Jay and Savannah and both of them were very helpful for my son and myself. There was one fish caught and also we saw Dolphins on the way out and the way back. I would highly recommend this tour!!

Guides were very wonderful and helpful! They checked around to see who hadn't gotten a fish and then put a bit extra on to get those tourists a fish. Very professional and just nice set of ladies! There were several on the boat, so not private by any means, but if you like to just have a fun fishing trip with others, this is great! They were very good with families.

we did a 3 hour fishing trip, it started at 11am and we went to 3 different areas for fishing but the places the captain picked were not very good for catching fish, but some small ones were caught, next time will do a deep sea fishing trip.

Staff were wonderful but the boat was dirty, the gear was awful old and corroded. Don’t feel like a real serious fishing encounter mostly to entertain kids. Most folks got sea sick even though it was a beautiful day and too many people to really enjoy the experience. Lines always tangled and they ran out of replacement equipment. Ok for a boat ride but not much else
