Definitely worth it! I would do this again! Didn’t want this day to be over. This was a 8 hour tour which included Iguanas, sharks, and pigs. Snorkel is included Lunch is included Drinks is included Also, I want thank Viator and crew for helping me with my booking. I am very grateful!

Your bottom fishing tour begins when you meet your guide and boat at Kewalo Basin Harbor 20 minutes before the departure time. This shared excursion eliminates the need to charter your own boat and is ideal for friends and families.

Then begin sailing off the coast of Honolulu exploring nearshore and offshore grounds for prized fish. Enjoy stunning views of Honolulu from the vessel and receive all necessary fishing gear and bait.

The crew was great. Everyone (ages 10-71) had a great experience. Everyone caught at least one fish, several caught multiple fish. The crew explained the fish were and if edible, the fish could be taken home to eat. One hint: wear dark, old clothes since squid ink may end up on your clothes and it is really hard to get. We would highly recommend this tour.

Family fun, beginner friendly

We had a great experience on the fishing tour! Communication was smooth from the beginning, and the crew was very welcoming. Check-in was easy, and the boat never felt crowded. Each group had plenty of space to fish comfortably, which made the experience relaxed and enjoyable. The crew gave helpful instructions and provided plenty of personal attention throughout the trip. As a beginner, I was especially grateful for their guidance—and I got lucky with three fish! We took pictures and released all three right afterward. Most of the other groups also caught multiple fish, so there was plenty of action throughout the trip. There was also an option to keep eligible fish. If participants chose to keep their catch, the crew would process it, wrap it, and keep it chilled for them to claim at the end of the tour. It was nice to have the choice depending on what each group preferred. A couple of helpful tips for future guests: make sure adults purchase their fishing license in advance. The requirement and the link are provided on the tour booking page, so it’s easy to take care of ahead of time. The water was quite smooth during our trip, although several passengers still experienced motion sickness. The crew had ginger candies available, which was a thoughtful touch and seemed to help. Overall, a fun, well-organized trip with a great crew. I’d definitely recommend it, especially for beginners!

We had an incredible experience. We saw flying fish, 4ft shark, and turtles. We fished in 40 ft waters and could see the ocean floor. We each caught fish and do this tour every time we visit.

This 3-hour fishing charter was absolutely incredible! I went out with my dad, and it turned out to be the perfect bonding experience. From the moment we left the dock, the crew looked after us, guiding us to some phenomenal spots where the fish were constantly biting. We both caught a ton of fish, which kept the energy high and the excitement going the entire trip. On top of the action, the coastal views and beautiful sights along the way were stunning. If you want a memorable, well-run trip that delivers on both action and scenery, this is it. Five stars all the way!

Great trip. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a hard time getting to Oahu due to flight cancellations and had a horrible tour yesterday at the Pearl Harbor thanks to the guide; however, this trip is turning our dream trip sunny again. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves.

The captain and first mate were great; however I do not think they were experts at locating fish. Two fish total with 15 people for three hours. We went to deep water when it was windy and then kept moving locations. I was very disappointed.

We both caught fish and we saw 4 sharks it was a great experience and we could bring our own alcohol to drink and snacks which was nice. Plus the bathroom on board was convenient to have since it was a 3 hour excursion.

This was a great experience. I did this with my 8 year old daughter and she loved it. Large boat with plenty of fishing gear on board. The deckhand was knowledgeable and did a fantastic job rejigging gear when losing hooks and/or sinkers (she is very fast and efficient). The captain drives the boat out to see in roughly 60ft deep water without anchoring. The only negatives I have is that they do not use a fish finder to locate fish increasing the chances of catching more and that not anchoring sometimes causes lines to run under the boat. We caught 2 small fish each. We had a fun day (3 hours). Would still recommend so get into it and enjoy catching some fish in paradise!
