Overview

Ride a stand-up paddleboard down a sheltered river during a 2-hour lesson on Oahu’s scenic North Shore. Choose a small-group, semi-private or private lesson, then paddle alongside your instructor as you practice balancing, steering and maneuvering your board. Take your first paddle, or improve your skills with tips from your skilled instructors, then watch for bright fish and sea turtles as you explore a tranquil cove and enjoy this traditional Hawaiian water sport.

Aimee took me to a calm river by the north shore. We got to see turtles sleeping on the side. It was very calm and relaxing tour. This is good for anyone new to paddle board. Aimee gave me lots of recommendations in Oahu island.

A great getaway from noisy beach, it’s a fun and exhilarating experience with nature, pedaling along the river that runs to the sea. Paige was our beautiful, friendly and cheerful guide/instructor who helped us stand up pedaling in no time. Had a great time. Pay attention to transport because it’s on your own.

Charlotte was our instructor/tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were not experienced in paddle boarding and weren’t able to stand up at all prior to this experience. Her instructions were clear and easy, which helped us get on the board quick. We started on our knees for 2-3 minutes and then practiced balancing ourselves on the center of the board while taking the river tour. It is a fantastic experience for anyone that isn’t familiar with paddle boarding or that may require some instruction to get the hang of it. The allotted time is excellent for both practicing and touring. It is worth every penny!

This was a perfect activity for us moms (and grandma) while the dads and kids got surf lessons. Our instructor was kind and patient and made sure grandma didn’t fall behind. We had a good time! Thank you from Canada! 🇨🇦

Low key adventure

None of us had paddle boarded before and Charlotte was a great instructor. She was patient and knowledgeable, took pictures for us and made sure we were safe. Our family of 5 would highly recommend this low key adventure. *Parking is a bit challenging so make sure to arrive early:)

We had a lovely experience. The river was gorgeous and our guide, Carol, the founder of north shore surf girls, was super sweet and great to spend the morning with. We had an amazing time just leisurely paddling up the river and enjoying the late morning breeze. Also saw a bunch of sea turtles! Would absolutely do it again and recommend to friends and family.
