Mac was engaging, helpful , knowledgeable and funny. The night painting was very interesting experience. Steel wool fire experience was adventurous and memorable. The video and photo were beautiful. Mac spent extra time to show how to use my iPhone to take great night pictures with exposure and other little tricks

Highly recommend! A little nervous committing 4 hours especially with a 12 and 14 year old but the time flew by. Both of my kids wanting to do it again. The locations, views, people, photos and our guide, Andrew, could not have been any better. Andrew was knowledgeable, fun and patient. He provided information about the islands, tips of photography and opportunities to be creative that I had never considered. We were able to experience some hidden gems of the island while capturing some amazing photos! So glad we did this and had Andrew as a guide.

Went as a group of three on the 15th and since it was just us that had booked, it was essentially a personal photo shoot. Our tour guide Andrew was such a cool dude. Gave us recommendations on how to take photos, let us do our own light photos, and took us to some dope pic spots. Was really accommodating to our requests when it came to the pictures and even let me get aux. SHOUT OUT MY FELLOW LEO BECAUSE HE HELD IT DOWN!!! Would definitely recommend.

Oahu Photography Tours exceeded my expectations. It was a great and fun experience. Photographer, Andrew, was simply outstanding and taught us a few tricks when taking pictures on a camera phone (iPhone), so glad that I did this at the start of my holiday, which has helped me take great pictures throughout the rest of my trip so far. Learnt something new. Great sunset spot for taking pictures and gazing up at the stars too.

what an amazing experience at the island! Mac made a wonderful sunset & light painting tour with us! We learned a lot and also had a blast! this tour is full service! pick up /drop off worked perfectly fine! Through Mac we could learn a lot about the Oahu and it's nature, he even should us a lot of flowers we've never seen before!

Malcolm was excellent. We got a comedian and a tour guide all in one. He got us an Hawaiian donut, took us to the best stops for photos and was playful with our kids. I highly recommend this tour and Malcolm is your guy.

Recommend this experience if you’re looking for a beautiful spot to see the sunset at and get great pictures! Andrew was super cool and had a lot of great suggestions on where to go for the best time in Honolulu! The locations were a little unexpected but it felt like we got to experience where most locals go to have a good time!

Did not get to see everything because of bad weather. Our guide Mica was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would have been a better trip but can't stop mother nature.

Curt was our tour guide and did a great job. Showed us remote spots we did not know. Provided a perspective my husband and I did not know about. Hawaii. He also gave my husband such valuable instruction that we are already incorporating into our vacation pics. The photos we took seem to be professionally done. Even got a photo of a meteor! Definitely recommend this tour!

I’ve been solo traveling here in Hawaii for over a month and out of all things I’ve done this experience sits at the very top. I’ll never forget this moment.
We saw an epic sunset of the China Walls, did steel wool photography on the beach in pitch darkness, and lastly did night painting photography up in the mountains. Along the way we were given iPhone compatible tripods that we used to shoot long exposure shots of the night sky. We went during a new moon and saw so many stars. I would have honestly stayed there all night stargazing and listening to the soothing sound of the ocean waves.
Our tour guide Mac really made this trip unforgettable! He was hilarious and kept us entertained the whole time. His energy was phenomenal and kept us wide awake. He personally showed me so many iPhone photography tips. Mac gave us insight knowledge on the neighborhood and even went out of his way to show us around some spots that only locals would experience.
This night time tour really stood out as one of the most unique things I’ve done here on Oahu. Highly recommend doing it! It’s so worth it.

Photography and views were excellent, but the tour guide was crude, full of inoffensive comments, coarse jokes, and lots of swearing even though he knew our group included my younger daughters. He was also an erratic driver and ran several red lights. We felt unsafe and it ruined our last night in Oahu. Not up to Viator standards, not family-friendly, do not recommend.

Thank you for your feedback. After you text me after the tour, I watched the video from the dash cam to see what you were talking about. I can see that the driver was making jokes that were a little inappropriate for some but at the same time, the other tour guests were on the same page as him. Most people do enjoy the relax nature of how we operate and that we are not a scripted tour company. I am sorry that you felt the conversation was not suitable for your group.
I did watch for his driving and I will have to take my guides side on this one. The lights in Hawaii are not censored and skips the turning lane sometimes. He took it upon himself to get you back without having to wait at all the non changing lights.
