Kelly was a fantastic guide: friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging. He shared great island history throughout the ride, which added so much to the experience. The food at every stop was amazing; each place was a standout. A really special bonus was that Kelly made a lovely video of the entire tour and sent it to me afterward. Such a thoughtful touch! This tour was a highlight of my trip and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Thank you, Kelly, for a beautiful day of bike riding and Hawaiian food! We lucked out to get a day of sunshine between the rain, and you worked with us to get the best possible experience. 2 seniors (in pretty good shape) -- we felt it was the right amount of riding and eating. Food was delicious and varied. My favorites were fish tacos and shaved ice! You took us places that we would have never visited and followed up with video montage and yelp links to all restaurants. Mahalo!

Aloha and Mahalo for joining Bike Tour Hawaii for our Hawaiian Foodie Bike Tour. This experience brings people like yourself closer to the Hawaiian and local culture that makes Hawaii and its people such a special place on Earth.

Kelly was a terrific tour guide - full of LOTS of information about LOTS of things! Loved that he shared tons of recommendations by text so we can go back to some of our faves. Maladadas, poke, cooked fish, Hawaiian food, shaved ice all sooooo yummy. My Aloha shirt making big waves now that I’m home and such a great souvenir! Would have liked more biking, longer distances between stops (good to digest food too) otherwise would be 5 star (wished I could give 4.5 star).

A great way to become familiar with high-quality, affordable food options around Waikiki area. At the end of the ride, I was almost full that I skipped dinner. The guide, Kelly, was super friendly and his navigation was clear and always safety-oriented. The road was smooth and did not have many ups and downs. Perfect tour to start a stay in Waikiki.

Do you like bike riding (not strenuous, just strolling), Hawaiian history/fun facts, and DELICIOUS local food? This is the perfect tour to start a vacation. We learned so much from our tour guide, Kelly. He made sure we were always safe on the road and our bellies were full. This tour is a great bang for your buck - the best tour we had during our trip and well worth the money! Thanks again, Kelly!
Warning - Do not eat before this tour starts!

PHENOMENAL TOUR, FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE from start to finish! Kelly (the tour guide) pulled back the curtains and gave us exclusive insider access to Oahu! It was great to experience the local flavor/culture & to see the beauty of Waikiki on wheels. Kelly is very passionate about what he does, he is engaging and personable.. His enthusiasm & narration made the seven mile ride an ABSOLUTE breeze. The fish tacos, blueberry scones, poke, shaved ice, and malasadas were absolutely delicious! This was our FIRST time to Oahu & we highly recommend this tour! 5 STARS -entertaining & informative! Thanks from Houston!

Great food tour, safe riding
Kelly knows his stuff and delights in sharing his knowledge of the Hawaiian food scene

The bike tour leader led us on a very interesting food tour, stopping at all the Hawaiian hotspots —fish tacos, blueberry scone, poke, shaved ice & malasadas at Lennerd’s. The traffic was a bit busy but that is out of the leader’s control. We learned a lot about Oahu.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Kelly! I would definitely recommend this tour to others.. you rode for about 7 miles and hop on & off throughout the afternoon. The trip is 5 hours, so you definitely want to be comfortable on a bike for this tour. The tour was from 1-5 pm, so a considerable amount of time. We learned a lot throughout the tour thanks to Kelly wearing a headset and attaching Bluetooth speakers to each bike. We visited 5 food shops and got plenty of food at each stop. Kelly took 140 photos of our tour and air dropped them to us at the end of the tour. He also sent them via Dropbox as a back up. 1 day after the tour he sent is a YouTube video of our day. This was above and beyond! I've been on dozens of tours across the globe and no tour guide has ever made a video or taken more than 1 or 2 pictures of our group. We were a group of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. All of us enjoyed the tour and it's variety of food, mural stops, and paths through parks and on roads. Highly recommend!

Had a great time on this food tour. We did this early in our visit to Hawaii, so we got to try some new foods that we then ate throughout the rest of our visit. It was well-paced, we had plenty of food, and it was super informative. Also of note: this was our favorite shave ice in all of Hawaii. We kept trying it, but nothing was as good as the one we had on this tour.

My favourite afternoon of my trip. Kelly lead a beautiful bike tour, with lots of information about the area and history and the food was just fabulous. Highly recommend.
Carl_D, Jan 2023
First, the technology - superb. We were given maps and images showing exactly where to meet. We sent a text asking for assistance with finding parking, and we received prompt and accurate guidance. The boom boxes on the handlebars were great. Second, the bikes - beautiful. Most importantly, Kelly was a fabulous guide, very passionate about the efforts made by the local food community to stay in business. The food itself was great. There is no better way to sightsee than on a bicycle! Carl and Cindy

Kelly did a great job taking us through parts of Honolulu that we would not have known to venture into. All of the places we went were family owned, which we LOVED, and the food was exceptional. Kelly took pictures of us everywhere and sent them to us afterwards so we really didn’t need to worry about anything. He’s a super interesting dude, too, and was a pleasure to hang out with. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely go on the tour again.

Excellent tour. Highly recommend doing this early in your trip if you're going to be staying around Honolulu. Kelly is gregarious and you will end up chatting with all the locals he knows which gives a nice perspective on what local life is like. It is city biking, but it felt safe even for the people in our group who aren't used to that. Nice bikes, comfortable helmets. Provided lots of water, it's not too strenuous so it's a pretty relaxed tour.

Great food, knowledgeable host. Felt tour could have been a bit shorter. Enjoyed the variety of stops.
Kemunto_M, Oct 2022
This tour was an amazing way to see the city and its local food spots. Kelly was an excellent guide and went above and beyond my expectations. Not only was the food excellent, but he also took pictures of me throughout the tour and made a video compilation of my tour afterwards. Would recommend this to everyone.

An excellent way to become acquainted with the Island, people, & culture. Kelly made the experience upbeat and entertaining. His knowledge is vast and recommendations were on point. All the food offerings were tasty & potions abundant. I highly recommend this tour!

Guide was very personable and felt comfortable. Got some exercise and good food. Learned some good info as well.
Sharon_S, May 2022
Seeing many areas of Waikiki, meeting new people, fun and knowledgeable guide plus amazing food! A great way to spend an afternoon!
Joel_M, Apr 2022
Kelly was an amazing guide throughout the tour. We loved every stop & even went back to Da Ono's for a meal later in the week. Kelly also took a ton of photos & really captured the whole experience. We will say it wasn't that long of an actual bike tour so if you are wanting a long bike ride, this really isn't for you. However, if you want an authentic taste of Hawaii, take this tour and you won't be disappointed.
Leanne_H, Mar 2022
Our guide. Kelly was fantastic. The tour was excellent from start to finish. The bicycles were easy to ride and the ride was filled with historical , cultural , and Hawaiian food history as we rode along. Our bikes were equipped with a great system allowing us to hear Kelly’s commentary.
The food: amazing, diverse and delicious!!
There was lots of food! No need to eat a thing before this tour- you will be stuffed!!
From the fish tacos to blueberry scones straight from the oven , to the shaved ice sheared whisper fine, to the warm and sweet Malasadas we were treated to Honolulu’s best culinary delights. We enjoyed butter like shoyu poke and shredded pork , and a flan like sweet gel that was heavenly. All the while we were peddling from location to location we also got a great education on the food we were experiencing. As others have recommended- do this tour as early in your visit as possible so you can return to the restaurant gems. Thanks - Kelly for an experience we won’t stop raving about!
Jeffrey_W, Feb 2022
Very good tour. A bit too much food, but all good. Maybe don’t do the scones. Also, guide express his political views a bit too much!

Kelly was a fantastic tour guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the culture and history of the island and he showed us a lot of great places to visit/eat that we wouldn't have found through websites like Yelp. Would highly recommend!
