Our guide (Matthew, I believe, I'm embarrassed that I don't remember) was literally a walking encyclopedia of all things voodoo but also all things history based in NOLA. We felt lucky to have him for this tour. He provides a non- judgmental space for learning & asking questions. We learned so much. This was exactly what I wanted, no hokey outfits or acting, just history. Thank you so much!

If you truly want to learn more about voodoo as a religious and cultural practice, this is for you. Our guide studied voodoo extensively and was a fount of knowledge on history, cultural practices, and common misconceptions. She really brought the history to life. This shed light upon an important piece of NOLA history for me and I really enjoyed it.
