What are people saying about New Orleans

First time visitor
My husband and I enjoyed this amazing museum. I almost didn’t add it to my list of places to visit but I am so glad we went. We got there around 1:30pm and explored for 3 hours. We still had more to see. I plan to come back on my next visit but I will make sure to get there early.

Women of New Orleans
Learned a lot about powerful, spiritual women who shaped New Orleans. Where they lived, their achievements, their impact on communities, and how their legacy continues to influence New Orleans today. We went in January when it was a little cold, but the weather was nice.

Well spent time & money👍🏾👍🏾
Worth the time…not knowing what to expect, our tour guide was friendly and well versed in the history of New Orleans. The stop at city park to take a break with the long awaited beignets was perfect! Darrin was great and I will be back to tour the beautiful city!!

It’s worth noting that this is a true crime tour with some graphic and unsettling details. The guide gives multiple warnings before starting, but if you’re not a fan of that kind of content, it may not be the best fit. If you are, though, it makes for a very engaging and memorable experience.

Excellent and thorough introduction to the city
Spent our first morning in New Orleans on this amazing tour which took us all around the city. Our guide Joseph was SO informative with lots of history, architectural details, and cultural insights. We were able to check some things off of our bucket list (seeing the different neighborhoods and districts, a cemetery, and sampling beignets,) gained a lot of insights into the history of the city and the aftermath of hurricane Katrina (including seeing where one of the levees breached and a house that was turned into a museum of sorts), and also got a good sense of different places we want to explore further. Had we only had a day in the city this and some time walking around and getting a meal in the French quarter would have been a perfect sampling, and since we have more time it was a great way to ensure that we make the most out of the rest of our trip!

Fantastic experience with Captain Jody
One of the most entertaining tours I have taken in years. We saw the usual wildlife - alligators, turtles, a raccoon, a snake, some pigs and quite a few birds - limpkins, Great Blue Heron, anhingas. Captain Jody kept us entertained the whole time with great information woven through stories and jokes.

Garden Ditrict Anne Rice Tour is a Hit!
Very fun and informative! Kelsey made this tour memorable with her vast knowledge of the Garden District. This tour is a great blend of Anne Rice landmarks and Garden District lore. We learned so many fun facts while strolling thru a beautiful truly unique atmosphere . Thank you, Kelsey!

Vampire Tour in October
We had Rose as our guide and she led us through various areas while sharing some folklore, culture, history, and true crime stories. Great storyteller! There was a super quick restroom break in the middle which was nice. It was a fun tour overall! Definitely recommend it.

Fun!
Jenna was great! We were running late and she made sure to stay in communication with us to be able to catch up with the group. I was worried it would be the same ol true crime facts i’ve read/known about but she actually dropped alot more info that I thought! The little bars along the way were so cool (be sure to bring cash!!) we had a VERY chatty couple with us and Jenna did great being loud enough for the rest of the group and keeping the conversation on topic. 10/10 would recommend

While this was labeled a ghost/crime scene tour, it was more historical. Joshua was well informed about the history of various events that took place in the French Quarters years ago. He patiently waited to see if we had questions. It is very obvious that Joshua loves what he does and is eager to share his knowledge with the throngs of people who sign up for the ghost tours.

We had a very good time on this tour! We loved learning all the stories of famous murders in New Orleans. So surreal to actually see places where things happened and hear the gruesome details. Loved going to Jean Laffitte's Bar too and enjoyed drinks and music on the piano. Lovely night in the French Quarter.

The Ultimate Ghosts, Gods & Gangsters Experience
Edward was an incredible guide! Engaging, knowledgeable, and full of spine chilling stories that brought New Orleans’ haunted history vividly to life. From the moment the tour began, his energy and passion for the city’s darker side kept us completely hooked. He masterfully weaved together tales of ghosts, voodoo, notorious criminals, and bizarre legends, all with just the right mix of humor and suspense.
Unlike other tours that rotate through different guides, Edward is a one-man show so you know exactly what you’re getting: a consistently top-tier experience led by someone who truly knows his craft. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a deeper, darker dive into the soul of New Orleans.
