Super fun tour. I’m single & 50+ had a great time! All the stops were fun and energetic, way to get out at night and have a great time in a super safe environment.

Pub Crawl itself was good, sadly everything else was iffy

TLDR: outdated departure location information, everyone was from the same hostel, but the pub experience itself was fun. I booked this pub crawl and the departure location on Viator is incorrect. I ubered to the location they directed me to. The receptionist there told me that departure location was incorrect on the website and they haven’t updated it. So I spent the time and money Uberring to the wrong place. The actual location was next to my hotel in central Lisbon so I had to Uber back which meant I was 30 minutes late and out the Uber fare there and back. I tried contacting the tour guide through Viator’s contact tour guide feature but received no response. I was sent to the incorrect hostel a second time until I finally got to the third. I’ve been on a couple pub crawls through several cities in Europe and Lisbon and usually you get a good mix of people but this pub crawl was almost exclusive to this one hostel. If you’re a solo traveler not staying in that hostel, well, I talked to about 30 out of the 50+ people on the crawl and didn’t meet a single one who wasn’t staying in the hostel. It’s fine if that was information given beforehand but it’s awkward to walk into a hostel you don’t stay in (the departure point / first stop is the hostel’s bar). Overall the pub crawl itself was good, people were friendly and everything else was as advertised but the lack of communication and responsiveness about where we’re leaving from and the lack of notice about the pub crawl effectively being exclusive to one hostel kinda brought the experience down; which is a shame because otherwise it’s a pretty decent pub crawl and the tour guide was nice as were the hostel staff involved. One of the staff said that one guy was in charge of notifying everyone about the departure location but I never received any info on that. I got a call from a Croatian number, which I answered but no one was on the other line, just silence. I didn’t receive any messages either through Viator or through WhatsApp about any changes.

Our guide Martini was great. Got to drink and club at some of the local places which would be harder to get into without the preferred entry from the crawl.
