The trip from Cabo da Roca to Cascais will take 30 minutes and the trip from Cascais to Lisbon will take 40 minutes.

This day trip was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide, Diogo, was superb. Very knowledgeable about all 4 places we visited. His humor was top notch. The first stop was Pena Palace which was so beautiful. I will say that it was a pretty steep hike up a hill, along with some 35 plus steps to the entrance. Totally doable at your own pace, but there is a shuttle for a small fee if you want to go that route. Then we visited Sintra which was a cool little town. Great places to eat. The Caba de Roca was my favorite. The views of the Atlantic Ocean reminded me of the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. It was simply breathtaking. God’s beauty at its finest. The last stop was the city of Caiscais which was cute and quaint. Must try their ice cream at Santini. Super yummy. I highly recommend this tour. It was worth every penny.

Our Driver/ Guide João was fantastic and gave excellent information and knowledge during the journey and sites on our itinerary and recommendations on where to eat, he also acted as our guide personally escorting us around Pena Palace.

We had a wonderful time with Diogo, our funny and easy going guide, who talked us about history, culture, traditions and even gossip of Sintra and it's surroundings.
Sintra by itself is a beautiful and interesting town. Visiting Cascais and Cabo Roca completes the day to see a little bit more of Lisbon's surroundings

Diego was a knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide. We got a tour of the castle, had lunch in Sintra, visited the westermost lighthouse on the continent, and then visited a seaside town. All were explained in an entertaining and informative way.

Diogo was a great guide, funny and knew a lot of history regarding the areas. Very informative, beautiful trip. Plenty of time at each location. Wish it would have been a sunny dry day but the torrential downpour made it memorable and way less crowded.

The tour began satisfactorily, but due to heavy rain at Sintra, my travel companion and I could not locate the designated meeting point (droplets of rain on my phone screen made it difficult to get the right direction). Despite sharing our live location 3 times with thr guide Ricardo, he chose to leave us behind rather than assist us in regrouping with the rest of the tour (we were 2 mins away from him as per Google maps). This abandonment left us completely drenched in the rain, with all our belongings—including phone, money, and passport—soaked.
This experience was unacceptable, unsafe, and demonstrated a complete lack of duty of care on the part of your guide. Abandoning paying customers in such conditions is inexcusable, particularly for a small group tour where individual needs should be better managed.

However, our guide Ricardo waited for you for almost 30 minutes, which unfortunately risked our scheduled entrance time at Pena Palace. We kindly remind that it is each guest’s responsibility to arrive at the designated meeting point on time.
Please note that due to traffic restrictions in the historic center of Sintra, our guide is not permitted to leave the vehicle unattended or the rest of the group behind to search for other guests on foot. These regulations are beyond our control, as is the weather.

It was a lovely day. It was great to see outside Lisbon and drive along the coast. The highlight was Pena Palace and getting a tour around inside with our guide Diogo. Diogo was great and we learnt a lot about Portuguese history from him whilst driving along and about Portuguese culture and Fado music. He was fun and funny, looked after us well and made our trip very memorable. It was nice to be in a small group.

We had a fab day trip and learned lots about Sintra, Pena Palace and Cascais and fab views from the most western point of Europe although very windy so would recommend a jacket! The colours of Sintra and Pena Palace were beautiful!

A perfect day exploring beyond Lisbon. The day (Sept 9) was well planned on the time between each site and without feeling rushed or over whelmed with activity. It was a small group of 6 plus our tour guide. Friat, our guide for the day was awesome! He was very knowledgeable in the history of each place and offered recommendations for local restaurants and shopping. The cherry liquer (Ginja) in Sintra is a must. The weather was perfect and photos of the day (incredible views) are so good. I'm so glad we made time for this tour. We highly recommend it!

Mario was fantastic! He was very personable, knowledgeable and helpful! We were able to see some beautiful parts of Portugal and learned so much. This day trip is a must for travelers to Lisboa! Very knowledgeable about Sintra and Pena Palace, Cabo de Roca, and Caiscais, and also about places in between, including about Lisboa, the coast, and Portugal! He even recommended great places to eat at each stop, and took a few minutes to let us catch some shots of some big waves on the way to Caiscais! Highly recommend!

We had an excellent tour! Our guide Firat was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and passionate. He took us to extra route for better pictures, calculated time so we can have more free time and less time in the queue. He gave us recommendations not only for the towns we went that day, but also for towns we are going to the next day. He is just a very caring and pleasant person. Highly recommend this tour!
