Fado , dinner show and night time tour.

Lovely evening! Picked up by Bernard at hotel and he showed me round Lisbon landmarks, stopping for photo opertunities. He took me to the venue where I enjoyed the excellent authentic fado music and singing, followed by a traditional 3 course meal. Finally dropped off back at hotel. I would recommend the experience.

Great service, the driver was good knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The staff was great friendly with great service- food was good, except for the dessert. The guitar players and singers were good .

Tourist trap with boxed wine

When we arrived at the restaurant they didn't have a spot for our party. We were shuffled off to a secondary, much smaller restaurant where we were jammed into a small table. The 2 guitar players were good and 1 of the singers was good. They only played 4 times for about 12 mins each time. The food was terrible and one ofy parties food was 25 mins late. When we order wine we were charged separately for wine we sayw the owner pouring out of a box into a pitcher. There was no AC and it was terribly hot. Be careful, this was near the cruise terminal and felt like a tourist trap.

William was our driver and right on time and parked at the cruise exit. He gave us a history lesson and is so nice. We had another couple join us. We were taken up to the highest point in Lisbon and got to see sunset. Then to a Fado show. Beautiful singers, staff and wonderfully delicious food. Even for vegetarians. Great wine 🍷 was included. I highly recommend this as a travel concierge. The chefs and wait staff are also the owners in this intimate restaurant.

The tour was more of the driver taking us to places that we hadn’t seen yet, which was perfect for us. But I will say, having this driver take us through the tiny busy streets in a large van was an experience in itself. I was beyond impressed by his maneuvering abilities! The dinner at the restaurant was delicious. The restaurant had a really great atmosphere to it; brick ceilings, and it was sort of hidden down an alley. The singers were also incredibly talented and the whole experience was wonderful.

Great experience. Driver was friendly, informative and took us to where we wanted to go before the fado dinner. Restaurant was not a tourist trap, but a place locals went to, giving us a more authentic experience. Would recommend.

Goncalo was a phenomenal tour guide taking us to places of the city we would have never known were there. The performance was fantastic and the food was very good. I can’t say enough about this tour. Well worth the money spent.

Tiago provided a wonderful tour of the city at night. The views were incredible. The Fado show and dinner were also great. It was a slow night so we received almost a private showing. The food was great as well.

Disappointing dinner at Fado Show

Our driver was awesome. He picked us up at our hotel and gave us a tour of Lisbon before the dinner and show. He parked close to the restaurant and walked in. The fado music was very enjoyable. The musicians and singers are very passionate about their craft. The restaurant is small and too many people were packed into a tiny space. There were only two waiters for about 60 people and it took forever to get our food and the food wasn’t very good. We ate very little of it. It was also very hot in the room which was uncomfortable.

We had a wonderful time on this excursion. Paolo picked what’s up at our hotel Promptly at 7 o’clock. He was actually even a little early. And then drove us around to some beautiful sites in Lisbon and took us up so that we could get pictures and some of the viewpoint of the castle. After that we drove back through Lisbon and went to the restaurant where we were gonna be having our meal and fado music. We had the typical Portuguese meal of bacalhao a bras, olives, vinho tinto and a dessert. The music was wonderful as was the meal. Paolo then picked us up At the restaurant at 11 o’clock and was directly back to our hotel. Great excursion. I would do it again.

We had no idea what a Fado show would be like. To put it mildly, we were truly amazed. We had a your of the historic area ahead of time and then then the dinner show. The food and wine were fantastic. The singers were just so passionate. Thank you for a great evening.
