The car driver was very professional, which was appreciated. The horse back riding guide was also quite good. However, the horseback ride on the beach was brief. To get there it was a long dusty trail and to have such a short ride on the beach was unexpected. We were overcharged for this experience.

We are sorry that unfortunately you did not enjoy the ride to its fullest, many of the customers love the trail through the forest to the beach, the ride cannot be longer to preserve the health of the horses, the ride is about an hour and a half.. ..

My husband and I had a great experience horse back riding for the first time. The instructor was very knowledgeable and she was also very kind too. Something we were worried about since we are tourist was a language barrier but the tourist spoke fluent English which made the experience even better!

This was an amazing experience. We rode for about 2 hours through the woods to the beach and back. The beach was absolutely beautiful and there was no one there aside from our group - it was so peaceful! My boyfriend and I had never ridden horses before but the guides set us up with really calm slow horses so we were fine. Our driver to and from the beach was also great, he pointed out a bunch of sights along the way like vineyards and cork trees. I would totally do this again next time I’m in Portugal!

This experience was really amazing. They had such a kind hearted gentleman Joao pick us up from our hostel and he also gave us history on some of the monuments in Lisbon. Our guide Lourenco was fantastic as well and he made sure that we were all okay and doing well ok our horses. Overall the experience was 10/10

Our family (3 kids) had such a delightful time riding horses! My middle child had never ridden a horse before and he was a little nervous, but our guide was friendly and patient and the horses are very calm and gentle. What a great memory for his first trip to Portugal and first ride on a horse! The drive from Lisbon is a little long, so be sure to bring a book or deck of cards if you have kids, and also pack a lunch or snacks for the ride back.

I would NOT recommend this activity. First of all, after almost a TWO hours drive from the Lisbon downtown, the “ride on the beach” lasts no more than 15 minutes, the other hour is in the middle of a forest without any attraction.
In addition to the above, our “guide” was looking at his phone the 99% of the whole ride.
To cap it all, our driver made a mistake and instead of picking us up at our address, he was waiting at the same address but on a different location, one hour distance! They changed our ride to a few ours later and we thought “ok, they took responsibility for their mistake”, but when he was about to leave us back in town after the ride, he asked for 100 Euros. As they threatened us with calling the police if we didn’t pay, and since we noticed and you can also read in other reviews that the owner is a violent person, we decided to pay the extra money and just walk away from there.
It was a terrible experience, but we are thankful we are safe and this didn’t escalate to something worse.
If I could add a comment to the owners of this business, i must say that by the price you charge, you should at least have a minimum decent equestrian equipment. The saddles are not appropiate for the ride and they’re in deplorable conditions.

Now you don't criticize, you're suspicious because you had to pay for your mistake, you're the one who made the mistake of putting the address on the reservation and you have the nerve to say that the driver was the one who made a mistake? is that in addition to being suspicious, you are a liar and that we do not admit, you put a wrong address in the reservation "Meeting point: Avenida Almirante Reis 30, 3rd floor, Avenida Almirante Reis 30, 3rd floor, Fernão Ferro, Portugal" and we didn't even tell you we said nothing, nor were we going to charge for taking a detour from the route, both to pick you up and to take you back after the activity. we could simply have given a No Show because you were not at the address of the reservation, but we didn't want your loss and loss of your reservation, we changed the tour from morning to afternoon and asked for a payment of 100€ for the extra expense of our car having driven more than 100 kms and having lost the morning due to your mistake... and you have the nerve to say that the driver was wrong???? the address is registered in your reservation, don't be a liar, this is very ugly!!!!
As for the ride, the transfer to the horses takes 1:30 and the ride on horseback takes 1:30, which gives a total of between 4:30 and 5:00 as advertised, in fact, the time of the ride to horse is announced.
But, you are a person without principles, I understood right away when you refused to pay the 100€ after having accepted that extra payment, and you only paid because I told you that if you didn't pay our driver would call the police and report the situation to the authorities ... you accepted the payment but told me you would give a bad review ... and here is your revenge ... you really are a person without character....

Very friendly driver Gaspar took us in a luxurious car and brought us to the quiet and remote ocean area . We were worried before as we had no horse riding experience at all . But our worries were easily stopped by the caring horse riding instructor Wilson . He was very professional, affectionate and friendly. We went on the horses riding with confidence . We rode the horses along sandy paths and then arrived at the long sandy beach . The beach had spectacular scenery and it felt so relaxing and amusing riding on horses while enjoying the beautiful views around us . Wilson made sure we were okay all the time . He taught us a lot of knowledge and skills regarding horse riding. He also took lovely pictures and videos for us . So we can treasure the special memories forever. Don’t miss this unique and fun horse riding experience. We will definitely be back again. Great thanks to Gaspar and Wilson . You are amazing!

Incredible experience! We loved riding the horses even if we did not have any experience. The guide was kind, friendly and careful about everyone and every horse in the group.

We had a great time riding horses on the beach. What you see is what you get. The beaches are nearly empty (in a good way) and the horses, while on the older side, seemed very well kept.
The guides and our driver were very kind and made good conversation. If you want to ride horses on the beach, this is the activity for you.

Loved this tour. Great experienc. Our escort/driver Gaspar was very attentive and the tour guide at the horse ranch was as well. Gaspar took the time to make the trip to Comporta an interesting one by highlighting the vineyards, cork plantations and beauty of his country. The guide at the ranch chose horses that suited our skill level and made sure the ride was a pleasant, fun one. An experience not to be missed by any nature lover.

Fuyez cette activité. Lorenzo est un menteur qui attire ses clients avec la promesse d'une ballade à cheval de 4 heures et une prise en charge gratuite à votre hôtel. En fait il vous envoi un chauffeur privé à Lisbonne, vous vous retrouvez à faire 3h de route allez retour, et 1h de balade à cheval sans même marcher au bord de plage comme le vantent les photos. Une honte. En fait vous payez surtout du VTC... Ses chevaux son maigres et il en a peur car il refuse même de faire un trot, encore moins un galop. Et quand vous demandez un remboursement il répond par des insultes. On a payé 525€ pour un couple et 1 enfant de 12 ans pour une balade de 1h30 dont 15 min sur la plage. Je vous aurai prévenus...

Nicolas, je suis désolé que tu traites Lourença de menteuse alors que dans ce processus la seule personne qui ment c'est toi, tout ça pour essayer de ne pas payer la course.
Je suis désolé qu'en plus de 8 ans d'activité vous ayez été le seul client qui ne se soit pas rendu compte que la balade à cheval dure une heure et demie, c'est décrit là, même après que nous ayons attiré votre attention sur ce que vous continuez d'insister mentir pour tenter de ne pas payer le trajet que vous avez apprécié.
Je sais que tu étais gêné car tu as dit que tu étais un excellent cavalier et demandé la permission de galoper et après tout tu es tombé de cheval, tout le groupe qui a pris la balade t'a entendu dire que c'était ta responsabilité....
Mais vous insistez pour ne pas vouloir payer... et c'est gênant.
après avoir fait votre balade, regardez un autre avis d'un autre client, également français, ce client a lu que la balade à cheval est d'une heure et demie, comme tous les clients l'ont vu jusqu'à aujourd'hui, seulement vous ne l'avez pas vu:

Alles hat super geklappt. Man wurde direkt vom Fahrer am Hotel abgeholt und am Ende der Tour auch wieder abgesetzt. Der Ausritt war traumhaft. Es ging entlang der Reisfelder zum schönsten Strand Portugals. Die Gruppe war gemischt bezüglich der Reiterfahrung. Danke an das gesamte Team für den schönen Trip und die sehr gute Organisation!
