Had a wonderful 2 hours at this workshop. The two hosts/teachers were charming, patient and so informative. The two things we made (pasteis de nata, a pudding with port wine) were both very delicious. I highly recommend doing this if you have some time one afternoon.

Was a fun and unique thing to do with my 13 year old son. Was a very small group (one other family with a daughter same age as my son). The pastry turned out delicious and was great for both the adults and teens in the group. We recieved the recipe after. I haven't had time to try making it at home.

We spent an afternoon learning how to make pastel de nata as well as learning about the history of portugese pastries. This was an absolutely wonderful experience from the setting, the expert baker and hands on instructions to tasting the delicious treats. It was so professionally done in a fun and relaxing way. Highly recommended. We attended as a family of four with adult kids (almost).

We did this class with two kids (11 and 14 years) and Filipa was very patient and wonderful with them. All four of us had such a fun time, and we were so impressed at how well the pastries came out! They were delicious and we will definitely be making them at home. We ate them all with a glass of Port wine and all was right with the world.

I took my two teenagers to this class, they absolutely loved it. It was so much fun! The workshop was hands-on. We all got a chance to work with the ingredients. It was really well explained. We got some port wine at the end with our freshly made Pasteis de nata.

We were taught to made 2 pastries from Maria. You can tell she loves what she does. She gave us a hands on lesson of how to make the flakey dough and the deliciously sweet fillings. I can honestly say my favorite Pastel de Nata that I had in all of Portugal were the ones we made in this class. I definitely recommend this class and can't wait to make these for my family for the holidays.

Having previously visited Lisbon we wanted to do something beyond usual site seeing and booked this workshop for the family with Filipa. Fantastic experience for a couple of hours, where Filipa is a skilful, patient and excellent host and teacher. Its all very hands on and learn all the skills to give this another try when you get home. We really enjoyed the experience and would strongly recommend to others.

Really fun workshop and easy to get to in central Lisbon - make pastries in an 18th C building! We made two types and learned a lot about how Portuguese techniques differ from French ones. The pastries were delicious, too. Small group of four so it felt personal. A highlight of our trip for sure!

She was so nice and it was really enjoyable. I was the only one doing the workshop so I got to get the full experience and after we enjoyed the pastries that we had made. I got to bring the rest home to eat. Would really recommend anyone to do it as it is an unique way of experiencing Lisbon.
