We booked expecting a cultural Lisbon wine and Fado experience, but were taken to an Italian restaurant instead. Only 3 wines served (not 4), with no local insight or engagement from the host, who left after 30 minutes. The food was Italian, not Portuguese. Lovely restaurant staff, but overall the experience was disappointing and not as advertised.

The venue is indeed an Italian restaurant, and we never advertised a traditional Portuguese Fado house. This tour does not include Portuguese food, as it was not part of the experience description. If you are interested in discovering Portuguese cuisine, we recommend our Tapas Food Tour, which we believe would better match your expectations. AMAZING! The Entire Experience

I booked this tour for me and my friend who were traveling in Portugal, staying in Lisbon, we met our tour guide Silvio the morning we booked to go to Sintra and we took the train with Silvio and one other person to Sintra. Silvio was AMAZING. He was so kind, and very, very knowledgeable about Portugal and Sintra history. He spoke GREAT English and was super helpful and willing to get photos for us as we toured the town. Very personable and professional, Silvio and the tour to Sintra were the highlight of our Portugal trip. If you are considering a day trip to Sintra DO it and book with this company. Sintra was amazing and we were regretting not booking more than and day there. Thanks so much Silvio, Candice and I LOVED our day with you.
