We can learn about Polynesian history and culture through fun activities with wonderful guides. The night show is awesome!! Kids friendly place!
This was a fantastic experience, book well before you end your holiday as you can return for 3 days following your visit, there is much to see and do
We loved this. Spent 2 full days there and still didn't get to do all of the activities. Dances, songs, and costuming...it was all so fun.
The whole thing was such an amazing experience. There are so many activities and most of the workers are students and they do an amazing job giving tours and helping us with anything we needed. Our guide, Tayla, was the best guide! She was super sweet and really showed us that she cared to get to know each and every one of us in our group! The shows were also amazing. I’ve been to luaus before and they have never been like this one. For sure the best!

We enjoyed an in depth guided tour of this amazing facility. Our BYU student guide Melia was exceptional, and made our experience memorable.
A full day of knowledge, fun activities, shows and food. Tour guide PK was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about all the islands and culture. Even though it rained on us earlier in the day it was still a very enjoyable experience. The bus driver gave a narrative tour the whole trip with Interesting facts of Hawaii.
The students performed well! Really worked hard to perform authentically. The history of Hawaii was changed. Costumes were no where near authentic or historical.
We are a family of 5, all adults. We were at first pretty skeptical whether this would be worth the money or not. But we were actually very satisfied and happy with the decision we made. The quality of the show was unexpectedly good.
We spent our 42nd wedding anniversary at the Polynesian Cultural Center, & it was an absolutely wonderful day...we had the " Super Ambassador" pkg, which included a personal guide who was the sweetest thing - my wife would've brought her home with us, she was so sweet and kind...and she saw to it that we made it to all the places we had told her we wanted to see on time, plus much more...the buffet dinner is very good, with lots of choices,...they brought us up onstage with other anniversary couples for an anniversary dance...&, since my wife's birthday was just a few days away, she had to go back up to hula dance with the other birthday girls...it was fun...and the luau show was spectacular, & breathtaking...&, moving...I could go to this place every day...I loved it...
This was a very nice show to watch with family. It is unique and nice variety of different entertainment to keep you engaged the entire time. Highly recommended.
I was expecting the "small group tour" to take us to all the "island locations so we could get an idea of life on that island. we got to two and late for both starts. what we did see was informative and entertaining, but we seemed to be rushed. I almost skipped out on the meal and stage show.
I wasn't sure what to expect when the time required for this excursion totaled 12 hours. But the time flies! All of the students who work at PCC are gracious and talented. Great care is taken to educate visitors about Polynesian culture. The shows and food are wonderful. My family really enjoyed our day here.
The time spent at the PCC with the Ambassador's ticket was absolutely awesome. I would great suggest this tour to people of all ages.
We choice to do this full day event on our last day in Hawaii because it had everything! Picked us up from our resort, took us to the center, we had lunch, took the tour and then went off to the luau! Staff was excellent and told us the history of the Hawaii people. How the different groups made the rich history of the island. The luau and show were great! We did 3 luaus and while the foods are about the same type, my son like the centers luau the best! All you care to eat and the staff is quick to bring more drinks and clear the used plates. We left the center after dark and had a nice friendly ride back to our resort. We will return to Hawaii and do this event again! Well worth the cost!

This was my second trip to the PCC, however, my first time attending the Lua. What an experience!! The dancers were so engaging with the audience. The dancing was such perfection. Something I will never forget.
This was my third visit—a trip with my 12 year old granddaughter. As with my other visits the sights and shows were fantastic. He staff is very welcoming and happy to give you a look inside their culture. This is a must do for first time visitors to Honolulu but you can skip the luau—the food is mediocre.
It was very interesting to visit all the islands cultures and beliefs all in one place. The Luau was very good as well.
Great day for the family. Immerse yourself in Polynesian Cultures. Touring Islands and gaining understanding of the similarities as well as differences of each family. Wear comfortable shoes, bring sun screen, and cash. Fair priced meals, and plenty of water/non-alcoholic beverages.
Polynesian Cultural Center Luau was a great way to spend out last full day on our Hawaiian trip. We paid a little more to have a guide so we could see as much as possible. The luau food was very good (we did 3 luau's and all have about the same food) and the dancers were entertaining.
Absolutely terrible. Viator's website, as well as the PCC's website, are not forthcoming about the fact that the PCC is owned and run by the Mormon Church. They serve no alcohol on the property (which means a completely dry luau, which is extremely surprising and uncommon). There are also numerous religious undertones throughout the park, none of which are disclosed in any way before you actually arrive at the park. The buffet is an absolute joke, and contains almost no actual Hawaiian or typical luau food, with the exception of one shredded pork dish. We did not receive lei greetings, although we paid for them, and we were so disappointed in the experience that we ended up leaving before the show. Viator should be more transparent about exactly what this activity entails- people should know what they are getting themselves into. I am working with them to try to get a refund of the nearly $300 we paid for this "attraction."
Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Oahu. Our guide was fantastic and Staff are very friendly. The villages and activities are well done and the whole center is well maintained.
This was an amazing day! What a brilliant way to learn about the different cultures of the south pacific. Our guide Chapo - hope I got that right was very knowledgable and friendly and each of the village presentations was both educational and amusing. The food at the Luau wasn't brilliant for a vegetarian but, as I'd already filled up on ice cream and pineapple smoothy, that wasn't a problem. The 'Ha: Breath of Life' show was amazing and really rounded off the day on a high. Highly recommend this tour.
